Chapter 229

Namjoon's P.O.V.
"..Why did everyone end up sleeping here again?.."

I answered my sleepy head of a girlfriend, leaving a kiss on her shoulder. "Because we decided to do a live early this morning to talk about the award shows and our comeback soon."

A slightly annoyed groan. "..Who's idea was it? I thought we were supposed to do nothing.."

Well.. "Mine? I wanted to clear the air with the guys because.. let's be honest, my post did not do that at all."
It did for me, but for the group and ARMY? Clearly not. I didn't want to disappear for a few days again without a live done.
"Wanted peaceful free time when we go out."

She kissed the hand laying on top of hers. "Sounds like a good plan.. When is it?"

I looked at my watch, getting up. "Half an hour. We're getting ready, but you can sleep. Don't worry about it."

"Who do you think I am?"
She grabbed her night robe and got out of the covers.
"I'll just have my coffee in the kitchen."

That's pretty sweet. "Actually, you know the room I don't use a lot?"
She nodded.
"We're gonna do it there. Leave you ladies in peace."

Min wrapped her arms around my waist. "Want me to make you a cup?"

"A cup of coffee or a cup of you?"
A soft peck.
"Because I'd take both."

There was a knock on my bedroom door. "Namjoon! Keep the lovey dovey stuff for later, will you? Get ready."

Hyung! Let me tell my girlfriend good morning and that I love her. It's the bare minimum!
Min and I shared a knowing glance and held back a laugh.
"Knock if you need anything, Beautiful."

"Sure thing."
She threw a shirt at me.
"At least put this on."
A motion at my chest.
"THIS. Is for my eyes only. I'm not sharing that with ARMY."

"That's a given."
I kissed her after putting it on.
"You share me enough as is."

Mina's P.O.V.
"Boo, how can you sit here and not wonder what they're talking about?"

"Did I ever say I wasn't?"
That room was sound-proof and huge. Even eavesdropping is impossible.
"Want us to watch it?"

Meg happily handed me the remote.
"Put it on the TV please!"

I texted Tae, to see if it was okay and to not tell the others! That was the point after all. After his answer, I set the TV up.
"I'll do that, but just to say hi and make them laugh. If they're hiding in there, it's because they want privacy."

She nodded. "I get that. While they're in there, we can watch videos after. Right?"

Of course we could!
"Sure! And.. there they are."

"So, how did you guys like the award season?" Joon asked the audience. They scanned the screen for answers.
"Why didn't you perform as a group? Well, we didn't release anything as Bangtan since last year. Can't do the same number two years in a row, can we?"

Yoongi pointed at Jimin.
"He did a pretty cool performance! Hobi too. Isn't that enough?"
He laughed.
"Don't worry, we're gonna have a comeback soon. Just wait for the official statement from our company. We're just focusing on more solo projects."

Tae nodded. "Yeah! I worked on a movie, you know?"

It seems they were not all aware of that, my boyfriend first. "Really? When's the premiere?"

Tae was all smiles. "January 13th! Please, watch it. It's great."
It had him AND Park Seojoon in it. Of course it'll be great!
"What are you and hyung working on? What about you, Kookie?"

The eldest started. "I'm working on an album, as we all were or are."

Meg's boyfriend laughed. "You and Namjoon hyung basically wrote mine."

Joon rolled his eyes. "You wrote your title track, take credit."
Yup. It's your turn to talk, Handsome.
"Well.. As some of you know, I'm taking time for myself, to spend alone, with friends, and my girlfriend. Award season is demanding, so I think we're all happy it's almost over even if we are quite happy with our wins!"

I knew what to type in the comments now! He read it.
"What was your favorite performance this season? You MUST have one. We clearly know who wrote that. Hi~"
My partner grinned.
"How long do you have? The artists were amazing. I liked the performance I did, but my favorite was SHINee's I think. It was a whole thing! What about you guys?"

They named a few, and the fact they liked my performance with Sanha warmed my heart. It was the most stressful one, and the one giving me the biggest amount of negative comments even if the concerned fandom enjoyed it.
"Boo, we can stop watching. They laughed. Min?"

"Oh- Sorry. Yeah."
I totally zoned out here..
"Let me hand them some water and we can put silly videos."

Meg's P.O.V.
Mina knocked on the door. I could see the guys turn towards the noise. Joon got up and opened the door.
"Hey, Beautiful. Is everything ok?"
He.. knew 300 000 people were watching, right?"
You couldn't hear my best friend, but you could see him smiling as she handed him water bottles.
"Thanks a lot, we were about to send one of us to get some. Want to come say hi?"
He moved away from the doorway.
"Mina's here~"

He handed the guys a bottle of water each, and Mina waved by the door. "Hi! I'll leave you with ARMY. I'm hanging out with my bestie~"

Then, Kookie lifted his drink, adorable bunny smile on.
"Thanks dongsaeng. We won't be too long."

JK, you MUMBLE all the time.
She didn't catch that.
"Hmm?"
Her body turned slightly and leaned in. My boyfriend looked at his hyungs for help. I'd be doing that to. Please don't let Suga be sarcastic.
Joon had his back to the camera, facing Kookie. The maknae's eyes lit up and he turned to my friend, doing something with his hand near his face. I guess it was good, because Mina smiled.
"You're welcome! Sorry, I missed that. Have fun with your fans. Bye~"
She closed the door and jogged to me, dropping in her seat.
"That's embarrassing."

"No.. I mean, yes. They were sweet though. But, maybe it'll get the point across."
I'm not insane! Hear me out.
"You've never explicitly told me. You know you'll never have to. But, you should know that, I have A LOT of free time at the moment and I'm always scrolling social media. You've been acting weird yesterday and the day before that."

She couldn't look me in the eyes and focused on petting her dog.
"I knew people would be upset. Sanha explaining his performance didn't change much. Then, after paying attention to that, they paid attention to my other performances, to Joonie and I's Troublemaker dance. What are those? No one needs those in a dance studio. I've seen them all. I don't care."

You do. "That's a lie, and you know it."

"I know." Did she scoff or laugh?
"But sitting and being sad is useless. I'd rather put silly compilations of them to watch."

Girl, one day, life will force you to stop and live those emotions.. It did so with your boyfriend, can't you learn the lesson by proxy? Perhaps not. "Alright, but we're watching their FESTA 2018 practice, okay?"

"Sure thing."
