Blade was carrying you on one of his shoulders. He shifted you a bunch of times to get comfy since he will be carrying you for a long time. Blade was walking on the concrete sidewalks as well as getting weird stares from humans all around him. He sighed thinking it was the way he was carrying you so he decided to just brush off the stares of the humans. He turned a swift right into an old alleyway. He walked past garage bins, broken doors, and even dead rats. Soon Blade carried you into a quiet neighborhood. He went behind someone's house to get to a huge white house with brown fencing around it. Blade opened the door and saw everyone home early. He gulped knowing he made a mistake going through the front door.

Blade was just about to explain why he was carrying a kid when Nightmare blurted out," Why on earth do you have a child?"

Blade took a deep shaky breath and replied," You said I couldn't get a pet so I got us a new family member." He added one jazz hand and a nervous laugh.

Nightmare looked at you in Blade's arms sleeping like a baby. He pressed against his forehead and sighed. There was no hope in returning you since it would look like Nightmare and the rest didn't want you in the first place (which they did but oh well). Nightmare took you out of Blade's arms and carefully placed you on the couch. You were still asleep which was a good thing.

You soon woke up and rubbed your still sleepy eyes. You looked around and realized you weren't at the orphanage anymore. You're at someone's home and on their couch. You didn't remember seeing the skeleton leave the orphanage. Did he adopt you? Is that what you're doing inside this strange house? You looked around and saw outside that it was noon. You heard your stomach rumble for food. You felt scared in this house. You didn't want to just get up and go to the kitchen wherever it was. This was a new place for you.

While you were thinking you felt someone rustle your hair, you quickly looked up to see Blade rustling your hair. "Oi!" You hissed ducking from his touch.

You then saw Blade getting slapped by another skeleton with a gray jacket but you couldn't see his face because he had his hood on.

"What was that for!?" Blade yelled at the other skeleton.

"Stupid! The kid needs to get used to us!" The other skeleton screamed back.

"Who said?!" Blade growled back at him.

"Nightmare!" He snapped.

You tried to cover your ears the best you could while they fought back and forth. You were hunched into a ball when you felt you were being picked up. You looked up to see a skeleton with a red eye and a hole in his head. You were headed toward a room with checkered pattern title and gray walls as you got closer you saw it was the kitchen. You were set on a chair and were given a little snack of apples and fruit. You slowly lowered your hands from your ears. You were quiet and speechless. You started slowly nibbling on the apples while quietly watching the bigger skeleton clean up.

It was quiet for a little while in the kitchen, other than the other two still fighting, until the larger skeleton said in a soft deep tone," ...Call...me...Skull".

You squeaked in surprise at the skeleton's soft tone. "U-uh I'm (Y/N)," you replied shyly still nibbling the juicy sweet apples.

Soon, the house was quiet and the sun was setting. You were still in the kitchen with Skull when you heard the front door open and slam. You saw a tired goopy skeleton go into the living room. He seemed to have noticed you holding on to the frame of the kitchen door peeking your head to see who came in. He smiled at you tiredly. You moved your head back inside the kitchen then slightly poked it back out. Blade notices Nightmare looking at you. He patted the couch for you to sit. You thought for a little bit but you refused to move from your spot. You went back to the kitchen to watch Skull make dinner on your tippy toes.

Dinner went well besides you not speaking. You followed Skull since you trusted him more than Blade. Skull took you to the guest bedroom since they never used it and helped you on the bed. You soon closed your tired 4-year-old eyes and went to sleep.
