The fire

The next morning I woke up to Rafe's alarm and I tried to find the button to turn it off on his face.

"Wait when did you come home from golf with Topper," I asked frantically "and what time is it."

He started laughing hysterically "I came home yesterday at five o'clock."

"How is that possible you left a few hours ago before I went to sleep," I assured him.

"Baby," he said "you slept through yesterday."

I sat there with my mouth open "you're lying."

He sat there laughing at me shaking his head no. I really didn't believe him until I got up and looked out the window.

"Would you like to join me Topper and Kelce at the gym," he asked "Sleeping beauty."

"Ha ha very funny," I said trying to say with a straight face "but of course."

He laughed at me "go get ready or I'm gonna leave you here."

"Better not," I say going to my room.

I picked out a pink tie dye matching set of yoga pants and sports bra and my normal black Nike sneakers.I heard bedroom door open.

"I'm leaving," Rafe yelled in.

"Not without me," I said walking out the door.

He laughed "someone's fast today."

I stuck my tongue at him and started sprinting "race ya."

I beat him to his bike and when he got there he just shook his head. We got on the bike and headed for the island club. When we got to the gym Kelce and Topper were there already.

"About time," the said in unison.

"Sorry sleeping beauty decided to tag along," Rafe said teasing me.

"You didn't even drink like you normally do," Topper stated "how were you that drunk."

"I honestly don't know," I replied.

"Babe will you spot me," Rafe asked me with a puppy dog face.

"Oh so now I said it was officially you need me around while you're at the gym too," I asked laughing.

"Well I didn't get any time with you yesterday," he said rolling his eyes.

"Sooo needy," I said giggling.

"Get a room," Kelce yelled from his spot doing dead lifts.

"Now that's not a bad idea," I said laughing.

Rafe smirked "yes no maybe?"

"Of course," I said following him to a bench.

"Don't you normally start light," Topper asked.

"True," he said "will you spot me in a little bit."

"Let me know when you're ready," I said "it's my cardio day so I'll be down there."

I they were all talking and all I could hear was the pogues sunk Toppers boat. That boy started an all out island war. Sarah is going to be pissed.

After a while Rafe came walking over to me and I didn't realize I already did an hour and a half on the stairs.

"That's why that ass looks so good," he said laughing.

"Definitely," I said laughing.

"I've been trying to call you," he said "didn't realize you put your headphones in."
