Once again, it has been a while. Life really gets in the way of life sometimes.

After having reassured Seulki that everything was ok with her friend the guys continued their schedule for the day. Most of the maknae-line seemed satisfied with the way they had fulfilled their quest of the lost book, but Jungkook still couldn't beat this nagging feeling that he had.
Even the youngest wasn't sure why he couldn't focus the way he usually did. He seemed to slip into his trances more often than usual and had more difficulty snapping out of them.
"Maybe you just need some more sleep" Jimin said, trying to reassure his friend.
"I'm pretty sure we all need some more sleep" Hoseok added; stretching his muscles as a way to re-freshen his mind.
The others nodded as they made their way to the apartment complex.
The elevator seemed to be free again after one of the neighbours had used it to move their excessive amount of furniture out of the building.
"I hope the new people moving in won't take as long with their stuff." Namjoon sighed. He liked exercise, biking when he had the time to do so. But all of those stairs at times made him regret living in the penthouse.
They entered the elevator with a brown haired man they had never seen before holding a some-what large box in his hands.
"I think I might be the new people." The man said in a cheery voice.
The boys looked at him, surprised at the timing of it all.
"Don't worry, I have all I need right here." the man lifted his arms a little, clearly talking about the box he was holding.
In the meantime Melody was starting to wriggle her way out of the strong clasp of her partner.
There was something different. The scent, the mood, something felt off.
The feline tried to investigate the new man as inconspicuous as possible from her position. The man wore simple clothing, enough sizes too big that it seemed they could fall off of his body if the belt around his waist wasn't tightly keeping everything together. He seemed rugged, like he hadn't been to a professional barber in a couple years, but at the same time seemed to care about his hygiene.
The man said something in Russian as he waved at Melody, confusing the others in the elevator.
Melody tilted her head questioning. So she hadn't been wrong, there really was something familiar about this man.
Before anyone could ask him anything the elevator stopped on the 3rd floor and the man exited the area.
Skinny, brown hair, travels light... speaking to her in Russian... A certain cheery-ness that didn't seem too common in Melody's life...
The answer hit Melody as sudden as the bell of the elevator telling them they had arrived on their floor.
'Victor! That had to be Victor!'
Melody had only ever spoken to her uncle when he was in his cat-form, a cheery, active, brown siberian. But she felt certain that that had to have been him. Why was he here? Did he follow them back to Korea? Was he here for Melody or for some completely unrelated reason? Melody wanted to go back and ask him, but she also really didn't want to leave her friends right now.
The cat pawed at the door a few times, but the guys didn't recognise what was going on due to their tiredness. Melody gave up and decided to follow their example and get ready for bed.
If he had just moved in, he should still be there tomorrow. The girl reasoned with herself as she laid down on her side of the bed.
Tomorrow she would go and search for the answers.
