The teacher of the virtual reality laboratory entered the lab to check up on two students who had booked the room for an extra class.

Normally, in these types of classes, students were left to their own devices to learn and experiment, and the teacher wasn't supposed to intervene.

However, she was free from her workload because the academy had been closed for the last two days. It tempted her to make an unexpected visit.

The door swung open, revealing two of her top students bustling around the cabin. Why weren't they entering? Wasn't Win Xander supposed to be here tonight? A few questions raised her concern.

Ren and Terim greeted the freckled teacher as she entered. Ren felt a sudden sense of relief at her arrival.

Otherwise, he might have had to endure Terim's chatter for much longer. He had never expected Terim, who usually seemed silent and cold, to be this talkative.

"Hello, teacher," Ren greeted, taking a few steps away as his mind raced to find an excuse to escape.

Meanwhile, Terim took the lead in asking the teacher some questions. However, there was not a single trace of his previous enthusiasm.

Terim once again adopted the demeanor of a cold and collected young master of the Polaris family.

"Hello, Miss. I didn't expect to see you here."

Lyra smiled at the two students. "I had some free time, so I decided to come and see how you guys are doing."

Her fond gaze shifted to Dorion, who was standing behind Terim.

"Dorion, are you feeling better? What brings you here? Did you get bored at the hospital and come to play with your friend?"

Ren, who was racking his brain for some excuse, nodded hurriedly. Forget about Terim, Ren was tempted to call Win Xander his friend just to escape his current predicament.

It wouldn't bode well if he were caught running away from the hospital at night.

Ren remained silent, and neither Lyra nor Terim found his lack of response awkward. They were accustomed to Dorion's quiet nature, after all.

Earlier, when Terim suddenly got an answer from Dorion, it made him excited to talk even more.

Of course, it was because he wanted to check his rival's abilities. He had no concern for his well-being whatsoever!

Lyra looked around and didn't see the trace of Win in the room. She shook her head. It wasn't the first time Win had ignored the classes.

She focused her gaze on her best students, and her gaze became gentler.

"Come on, lie down in the cabin and experience the workings of the first-generation cabins invented in ancient times. It will help you better understand all aspects," Lyra suggested warmly.

Ren, ready to skip away, lay in the soft cabin filled with various blinking options under the watchful gaze of the two enthusiastic individuals.

Ren found it odd. He couldn't shake off a sense of unease. Was it just his imagination, or was the freckled lady unusually excited?

Ren didn't start the operation. It wasn't as if others could tell from the outside what he was doing inside.

Instead, he carefully listened as the teacher gently guided Terim into the cabin to initiate the program.

Ren's plan was straightforward. With the class scheduled to last for two hours, he decided to wait until the teacher left the room, giving him the opportunity to search for clues without interruption.
