Flashbacks...
It had been weeks since Yuki had seen Becky, and the moment she laid eyes on her, the shock nearly knocked the wind out of her. The once vibrant, spirited girl she knew had withered into a shadow of herself. Yuki couldn’t stand it. She knew something had to be done, and fast.

Yuki sat in her apartment that night, pacing back and forth, thinking of ways to get Becky back. Freen was the key—she knew it. But Freen had distanced herself, caught in her own world of guilt and confusion. Yuki needed to snap her out of it. That’s when the plan started to form in her mind.

She picked up her phone and texted the group chat.

Yuki: Emergency meeting. Our girl needs us. Meet at the usual spot, ASAP.

Minutes later, Nam, Tee, and Kate showed up at Yuki’s place, their faces serious as they sensed the urgency in her message. They gathered around the table, ready to listen.

Yuki took a deep breath before speaking, “Guys, it’s about Becky. She’s not okay, and Freen is the only one who can help her. But Freen won’t make a move. We need to… nudge her.”

Tee raised an eyebrow. “Nudge her how? Freen’s stubborn. She’ll never admit anything unless she’s forced to.”

Yuki smirked, a spark of mischief in her eyes. “Exactly. That’s why we’re going to force her to confront her feelings. We’ll give her a little push, make her realize what’s in her heart.”

Kate leaned forward, intrigued. “Okay, what’s the plan?”

“That’s where you come in, Kate,” Yuki replied, grinning. “You’re going to help us create an illusion. We’re going to make Freen think Sarah’s talking to her from the other side.”

Nam crossed her arms, looking skeptical. “You really think that’s gonna work? Freen’s too rational. She won’t fall for something like that.”

“Trust me,” Yuki said confidently. “She’s been avoiding her feelings for too long. We just need to plant the idea in her mind. Once she believes it’s Sarah guiding her, she’ll be forced to deal with her emotions—specifically, her feelings for Becky.”

Tee nodded, starting to see the vision. “Alright, I’m in. What’s my role?”

“You’ll help with the technical side of things,” Yuki explained. “We’ll need to stage this perfectly—lights, sounds, everything. Freen needs to think this is real.”

Nam still looked hesitant. “What about Becky? Does she know anything about this?”

Yuki’s face softened. “No. Becky doesn’t need to know. Not yet. This is about helping Freen first. Once she realizes how she really feels, she’ll come back to Becky.”

After a few more minutes of planning, the group had their roles set. They were ready to pull off the illusion.

Back to the Present: At the Usual Spot

In the present, the gang was back at their usual spot—a cozy little café tucked away from the busy streets. They were sitting around their favorite table, laughing and teasing each other as they celebrated the success of their plan. Yuki couldn’t help but feel a surge of satisfaction. Everything had gone perfectly.

Kate leaned back in her chair, grinning. “I gotta admit, Yuki, I didn’t think we’d actually pull it off. Freen’s reaction was priceless.”

Yuki chuckled, taking a sip of her coffee. “I told you it would work. Freen just needed a little push. She’s been so lost in her guilt that she couldn’t see what was right in front of her.”

Nam, who had been quiet for a while, finally spoke up. “The part that hit her the hardest was when I told her about Becky. You should’ve seen her face when I described how Becky’s been living.”

Tee nodded, looking serious for a moment. “It’s heartbreaking. Becky didn’t deserve any of this. I just hope Freen can make things right.”

Yuki waved her hand, brushing away the heavy mood. “She will. Freen’s head over heels for Becky, even if she didn’t realize it at first. Now that she knows, there’s no way she’s letting Becky go.”

Kate smirked, leaning forward with a mischievous glint in her eye. “So, what’s next? Now that we’ve fixed Freen’s love life, should we focus on getting Nam to finally confess to—”

Nam’s face turned bright red, and she threw a napkin at Kate. “Shut up, Kate! Not everything is about me!”

The group burst into laughter, and Tee joined in the teasing. “Come on, Nam, you’ve been dancing around that crush for years. When are you going to make a move?”

Yuki raised her eyebrows, smirking. “Yeah, Nam. We’ve all noticed how you’ve been acting lately. You’re not as sneaky as you think.”

Nam crossed her arms, trying to play it cool. “You guys are ridiculous.”

Kate grinned, her eyes twinkling. “What can we say? We’re experts at love, clearly. Just look at how we helped Freen!”

Nam rolled her eyes, but she couldn’t help the small smile that crept onto her face. “Yeah, yeah. You guys did good.”

Tee leaned back in her chair, stretching her arms behind her head. “I just want to know how long it’ll take for Becky to forgive Freen fully. Do you think she’ll come around soon?”

Yuki shrugged, her expression softening. “It’ll take time. Becky’s been through a lot, and healing doesn’t happen overnight. But with Freen putting in the effort, I think Becky will come around.”

Nam looked thoughtful for a moment before nodding. “Yeah, Freen’s determined. She won’t let Becky go without a fight.”

The group shared a moment of quiet understanding, knowing that their plan had set things in motion. They had done what they could; now, it was up to Freen and Becky to rebuild their relationship.

Kate broke the silence with a cheeky grin. “So, next time we meddle in someone’s love life, let’s make sure there’s no risk of ghost sightings, alright?”

Tee laughed, shaking her head. “Agreed. No more spooky illusions. We don’t need anyone else freaking out.”

Yuki raised her cup in a mock toast. “To us—the best matchmakers in town!”

The group clinked their cups together, laughter filling the café once again as they celebrated their victory, knowing that they had helped two of their closest friends find their way back to each other.
