The next day came around after spending the afternoon of the previous day with the autobots and humans as Saphira had just wanted to enjoy time with them. She enjoyed herself a lot, even after she had retreated to her bedroom after enjoying a couple bowls of the stew. It turned out very delicious and filling. And there was practically none left, so it really hit the spot. Especially as the night temperature went down a lot and additional wood was added to the fireplace. Luckily, chopping wood for the fire was generally Barricade's job in winter due to him not feeling the cold, and now Ironhide, Hound and Crosshairs have decided to help, so there was a lot extra fuel for winter.
Now that the next day had come around, Saphira had gone out to the barn to renew some of her memory about Cybertronian anatomy and medical practices. It turned out she didn't forget a lot, but she wanted the refresher anyway, so that way if the time did come, she would be confident and equipped to handle it. Cade joined in as well, and he picked it up very quickly, especially as he had a basic understanding through helping Optimus. Saphira did wonder why this man failed at making something that would bring in a fortune since he seemed quite intelligent. But it seemed he might have been focused on making the wrong things, which was why a lot of his inventions have failed.
Though after a couple hours of going over it, Saphira decided to challenge Cade, Tess, Shane and the bots to a snowball fight. And it was accepted. Only Optimus, Barricade, Ratchet and Drift decided to not join in. Saphira was surprised Barricade didn't want to join in, as they both have had numerous snowball fights before. But she did not question his decision too much as she figured he might have just enjoyed it when it was just the two of them. So it was understandable.
Saphira laughed loudly as she ducked when a snowball flew over her head that had been thrown at her by Bumblebee. She gathered snow into her hands to make a snowball and throw it back at him, hitting him in the chest. She laughed as he gathered more snow with a smirk to throw another at her, and she yelped as Ironhide managed to hit her in the cheek, making her look at him with wide eyes.
"Oops, sorry, punk. But you need to be looking at your surroundings." He winked at her and flinched as several snowballs hit his chest and he sighed deeply, shaking his head. "Ugh...it is always me who is the bigger target."
"Well, you do have the biggest holoform, Ironhide," Crosshairs remarked mockingly as he ducked when Tess threw a snowball at him. "Even more so than Hound." Hound threw a snowball at Crosshairs hard, and hit him in the back of the head, making Crosshairs stumble and turn to look at him in shock. "Oh...you didn't like that, did you?"
"Huh? Pfft, nah, I knew you were just talking trash." Hound rubbed his hands together, flinching a little when Shane threw a snowball at him, and he brushed the snow out of his beard and leaned down to scoop up some more snow. "And you're quite the target yourself, Crosshairs. After all, nobody wears a fancy jacket in the snow."
"Ha, ha, real funny...HEY!" Crosshairs snapped his head towards Saphira as she threw a snowball at him, and it hit him in the cheeks. It irritated Crosshairs a little, making Saphira giggled and run away with Bumblebee throwing several snowballs at her, making her squeal loudly. Crosshairs huffed in amusement. "I see what this is. Picking on Crosshairs, huh?"
"Nah..." Ironhide lightly tossed a snowball at Tess, hitting the girl in the shoulders and making her giggle before Cade threw a snowball at her and Ironhide at the same time. The snow ball hit Ironhide's face, making him huff in surprise and rub the snow from his face, making him put his hands on his hips. "We are picking on everyone today, Crosshairs. Except for the boss, of course."
"We sure are!" Cade threw another snowball at Shane, hitting him right in the forehead and making him almost fall backwards onto the ground, making Cade chuckle. "Oh yeah, we are definitely picking on everyone today."
