(Cupid • Jack Stauber's Micropop)

Felix was walking down the street, on his way to the café. He had just gotten off of his bus. He noticed, like every morning, that he had gotten more used to walking this route than walking the route from his own house to the café.

The streets were busy, but not so busy that Felix had to push his way through the crowd of people just to get to the café on time.
Felix grabbed his phone from his pocket. He had five more minutes, so there was no hurry, he would be there in less than two.

Altough Hyunjin had kept insisting on driving Felix to work he realised that Hyunjin had other things to do than be Felix's taxi. So he had kindly refused, and from then on he simply took the bus like a normal person.

Suddenly someone painfully bumped into his shoulder. He groaned in pain and managed to clench his phone just on time not to drop it.
"Hé!" He exclaimed. He turned around towards the person that had bumped into him. "Watch out where you'r-"

Immediately all color vanished from his face. He was frozen into place. His feet seemed to be attached to a huge block of cement. He wanted to run, he wanted to run so bad. Really, he did. He wanted to reach the safety of his café. He wanted to reach the safety of his best friend, Jisung, but he couldn't run. He couldn't move because fear had him in its grip.

The man in full black was turned towards him. Just like the last two times, his face was covered with a mask, a pair of sunglasses and a cap, with his hood pulled over it. He was standing barely five feet away from Felix, much too close. Way too close. His hands were in the two-way pocket in his hoodie, which looked like it hadn't been washed in a while, even though it was a black piece of clothing.

The man lifted up one hand, and waved at him. The typical way creeps wave. Moving his fingers up and down irregularly as a form of waving. Felix felt a bile rise up his throat.

"Hello, Felix." The man spoke. The deep timber of his voice startled Felix. He was using a voice deformer, there was no doubt about it. But it made it even more terrifying. This had been planned.

In a flash Felix turned around, and he started running. His mind told him that if he'd reach the café he'd be safe. He'd be safe if he reached the café. The café was his safe haven. He needed to reach the café.

The door swung open and Felix almost stumbled inside. Cold sweat ran down his spine, his heart beat out of his chest and his face was pale with fear.

Nobody was there. Felix slammed the door shut and locked it in a reflex. They weren't open yet anyway.
"Felix, there you are!" Jisung exclaimed happily. Felix tried to act normal as he turned around and faced Jisung, but seen by the way his face dropped in a matter of seconds, he realised he had failed.

"Jesus, what happened?" Jisung asked. Felix wasn't capable of talking, and Jisung luckily realised that. He walked over to Felix and took him in a tight hug. Felix still couldn't move and therefore didn't hug the other back.

"Did something happen with Hyunjin?" Jisung asked. Felix shook his head. "Then what happened?"
Felix thought he had finally managed to find his voice back, and opened his mouth to say something when a loud knock sounded.

Felix practically jumped up.
"Oh, give me a second." Jisung said. He walked over to the door and smiled. He immediately unlocked it without a second thought and swung the door open.
"Excuse me sir, but we're not open yet." Jisung said. From the angle Felix was standing at he couldn't see the man.

"Oh, that's too bad. Guess I'll have to return later then?" The man asked. Felix didn't recognise the voice, but it definitely didn't use a voice deformer.
"We'll be open in about half an hour." Jisung responded kindly. Felix felt really suspicious about the situation.
