(Hero's Soup • Stray Kids)

"Dove?" Hyunjin called out. Felix heard a door slam shut. He couldn't help but smile. He didn't move from his spot in the bed, he wanted Hyunjin to find him.

He realised he was starting to look forward to Hyunjin coming home. Because he had changed shifts in the café he was done earlier most of the days, and therefore he was pretty much always home before Hyunjin was.

Home. He was starting to call Hyunjin's appartement home. His home at that.
When was the last time he had visited his own apartment?

"Dove!" Hyunjin called out again. Felix smiled. He didn't look up from his Netflix series. He was finally laying comfortably.
The bedroom door swung open.

"Ah there you are!" Hyunjin said. Felix finally looked up from his phone. He put his series on stop.
"Hello." Felix smiled. Hyunjin didn't say anything for a good twenty seconds.

Suddenly Felix was very well aware that he was dressed only in simple sweats. Hyunjin's sweats at that.
Hyunjin smiled. "You look beautiful." He spoke silently. As if he was scared someone would hear him.

Felix scoffed and looked away, suppressing an obvious smile. Hyunjin sat down on the bed beside Felix.
Felix looked back. He froze.
That smirk, oh no. Please don't let it be.

"I got you a gift." Hyunjin grinned.
Dammit.
Hyunjin immediately noticed the reluctance on Felix's face. He put something on the ground and shifted closer to Felix.

"Listen." The elder said, grabbing the younger's hands. "I know you don't like me bringing you gifts, but it really makes me happy." Hyunjin said. Felix sighed, and smiled.

He could understand that Hyunjin gifting stuff to people made him happy, since that and physical affection was simply his way of showing his... uhm... care for someone.

"No, I just shouldn't be so ungrateful." Felix admitted. He just was so fucking bad at accepting them, so awkward, that he most of the time just wanted to avoid it.

"You're not ungrateful!" Hyunjin scoffed playfully as he lifted a shopping bag from the ground. Felix already felt guilty.
It was and Ives Saint Laurent shopping bag, and he knew how expensive what was inside could get.

"Just please don't tell me you bought something overly expensive?" Felix muttered. Hyunjin rolled his eyes.
"Dove, what's the point of having money if I can't spend it on someone I lo-" He cut himself off mid sentence. "What's the point of having money if I can't spend it on a beauty like you?" He quickly corrected himself. Felix blinked a couple times.

"You think I'm beautiful?" He felt his face heat up. Hyunjin rolled his eyes.
"I thought that had been clear. I think your absolutely stunning, in fact." Hyunjin smiled. Felix's face reddened even further.

"Just please open it." Hyunjin pleaded nicely. Felix smiled.
"You know I'm horrible at accepting gifts." He muttered. He suddenly realised he must've indeed looked extremely ungrateful. His eyes widened in shock, he didn't want to look ungrateful.

But instead of disappointment or anger, Felix saw amusion in Hyunjin's eyes.
The elder tilted his head and pouted cutely. Felix cringed, but couldn't help but smile. "Please?" Hyunjin pleaded.

"It's not that I don't want it." Felix chuckled. He threw the bedsheets off and moved a little closer to Hyunjin. "Really, but I don't want you to get disappointed by my reaction." He admitted. Hyunjin shot forwards and pecked his lips. Felix pulled back in surprise, but Hyunjin didn't seem to care.

He lifted the bag off of the ground and placed it on Felix's lap.
The younger one pressed his lips together. He would have been lying had he said he hadn't been at least a little excited.
