Once I got down to the chambers, I found my way to the Potions classroom. There weren't that many people in the classroom yet, but I saw Lena and came to sit beside her.

The thing about Lena is that she should have been a Hufflepuff. From what I've been able to get from her in the past day, she is so soft and sweet that it just feels wrong that she's in Slytherin.

"Hi," I said, smiling at her.

"Hey, do you know what house we have this class with?" she asked.

"No, but I'm sure I'll find out soon enough," I respond.

"Do you have any family in Slytherin?" she asked, looking at me curiously.

"One of my dad's family was in Slytherin until he was put in Gryfindor," I said, smiling. "What about you?"

"My entire family has been in Slytherin since the school opened," she said, smiling.

huh, I thought that must be why shes in Slytherin.

I was about to say something when Professor Snape walked into the class and said, "There will be no foolish wand-waving or silly incantations in this class. As such, I don't expect many of you to appreciate the subtle science and exact art that is potion-making. However, for those select few who possess the predisposition, I can teach you how to bewitch the mind and ensnare the senses. I can tell you how to bottle frame, brew glory, and even put a stopper in death."

When he stopped talking, I heard several giggles from a few Slytherins and most of the Gryffindors we were sharing the class with. "Today we will be going over all of my expectations and rules for this class," he snapped, giving a glare at the students who were laughing.

We were dismissed after a couple of hours to go to our next class, and I could already tell that I was going to like potions. The thing is that neither of my fathers were the best at potions, but well, see how well I turn out to be in that class.
