On my way

September 1st, 1992

I saw a table on the far left erupt with cheers. I stood up to walk over to them. While doing so, I heard whispers behind me; after all, I was a half-blood form to Gryfindor parents into Slyherin, so I decided to block them out.

The only person at the Slytherin table that I knew was Draco Malfoy. I decided to sit next to him because of how I grew up.

My dad wasn't able to take care of me after my other dad was put into Azkaban, and he trusted Narcissa Malfoy, but boy should he not have.

Narcissa sent me to the United States of America; she let me wonder on my own, but I never had any money, and I was banned from going to places with food. So I mostly just wondered around parks. Narcissa would come to the U.S. once a week and give me a small plate of food and a small water bottle; usually whenever she came, she'd start hitting me, but once a month, Draco Malfoy would come with her.

Draco was my only friend growing up; every time he came, he would sneak more food to me and I wouldn't be hit. I always was excited for him to come by because of what he prevented, but the older I got, the less he came; it was probably a good thing though.

Draco gave me a smile when I sat down beside him. The rest of the students went by quicker, and then Dumbledor gave a speech. I don't really remember what it was about; I just remember the name Serverus Snape; he is our head of house.

Once dinner ended, we were led by a seventh-year student to the dorms. Once I found mine, I met the three girls I would be sharing it with: Lena Corina, a girl with long blood hair and stunning brown eyes; Hannah Closteral, a girl with long black hair and dark green eyes; and Enid Fornter, a girl with short blue hair and dark hazel eyes. They seem pretty nice.. I thought to myself while putting all of my stuff away. The four of us quickly went to sleep, tired from our travels.

September 2nd, 1992

I awoke around six when the sun started to rise. I went into the washroom to take a hot shower and get ready for the day. Once I pulled on my uniform and grabbed all of my stuff, I said good morning to the girls and went down to breakfast. The heads of each house were passing out everyone's schedules for the year. After I got my food, Snape walked over and shacked my hand and said, "It is a pleasure to meet you, Miss Lupin Black."

"You too," I responded.

On Mondays I have potions and transfiguration. On Tuesdays, I have Defense Against the Dark Arts, Herbyology, and History of Magic. On Wednesdays I have flying and charms. On Thursday I have astonomy and transfiguration. On Fridays I have Potions and Defense Against the Dark Arts. I also have band every other day but that's not a actual class sense in your first year you take an elective but its more of a club.

I looked at the time and decided that I should probably go to class so that I don't become late. So I put a smile on my face and went on my way.
