Breakfast

I felt Fred slowly examine my face as we sat down. I quickly grabbed a muffin and began to eat. Fred seems nice, I think, as I take a bite out of the sweet chocolate muffin.

"What's your family like?" I ask, knowing that Fred is related to Ron, Ginny, and George.

"Crazy, my eldest brother Bill is the protective cool brother of the family; Charlie is also another cool one; he studies dragons in Romania; my other elder brother Percy is a nerd who never sees mine and Georgie's pranks coming; then there are me and George the pranksters, Ron the weird one, and Ginny our sister," George says smiling. "Is your father Sirus Black?

I sighed. I knew this question would come up, and I knew I would hate it, and I was right, I do hate it. "Yes, he is one of my fathers, and I don't remember him, but my other father tells me lots of stories about him," I say.

"That's interesting and cool; do you want to help George and I pull a prank later today?" Fred asks, smiling at me.

"Sure, but I need to go; my friend will start to worry about me," I say after I finish my muffin.

"Alright, bye," Fred says, looking at me softly.

"Bye," I say, standing up and walking quickly out of the hall.

Stupid, stupid, I think, while walking away, knowing that I felt something for him, but it wasn't how my father always described how he felt for my other dad. I can't help but wonder if Fred feels the same way about me. But I quickly push those thoughts aside and focus on meeting my friend. After all, reality is often different from fantasy.
