The next morning, Namjoon woke up with a pounding headache. He groaned, keeping his eyes shut for a few moments as he tried to fight the urge to fall back asleep. Slowly, as the haze in his mind began to lift, he started to become more aware of his surroundings.

When he finally opened his eyes, a deep frown formed on his face. He was in an unfamiliar room—definitely not his hotel, and not any place he recognised.

“What the hell? Where am I?” Namjoon muttered, sitting up and glancing around the room, trying to make sense of the situation.

He rubbed his temples, the headache making it hard to think clearly. Faint voices could be heard from outside the room, pulling him out of his daze. Curiosity and a bit of unease pushed him to get off the bed.

Opening the sliding door slowly, Namjoon stepped out into the hallway, the voices becoming clearer as he moved closer. His heart raced with confusion and a growing sense of dread. "Whose house is this?" he thought, moving cautiously, trying to piece together the events of the previous night.

As he turned the corner, his breath caught in his throat. Joo-young was sitting there, tears streaming down his face, and next to him were a few people in uniform—the police.

Namjoon blinked, his mind racing with a thousand questions. "Why are the police here?" he thought, feeling the tension in the air.

“Joo-young?” Namjoon called out softly, his voice shaky, one hand gripping his head in confusion. He stepped further into the room and froze when he saw his siblings standing there as well, their faces serious and...worried?

“What’s going on?” Namjoon asked, his confusion deepening as he looked at them, hoping for an explanation.

Everyone turned to look at him, the tension thickening. Jin, who had been standing off to the side with his arms crossed, broke the heavy silence. "Namjoon... why would you do this?" Jin's voice was strained, a mix of disbelief and pain in his eyes.

Namjoon frowned, completely lost. “Do what? What are you talking about, Hyung? And why are you all here? Why am I here? Joo-young, why are you crying? And why is there police here?” His voice rose with each question, his panic rising.

Joo-young wiped his face, but didn’t look at Namjoon, while the police officers exchanged a glance before one of them stepped forward. “Mr. Kim Namjoon,” the officer said in a calm but firm voice, “we need to ask you a few questions. It's important that you cooperate.”

Namjoon felt the world spin for a moment, his mind scrambling. “What... questions?” he asked slowly, looking at his siblings, hoping for answers. But their stern expressions only made the knot in his stomach tighten.

Jungkook stepped forward. "Hyung, something happened last night... and you were involved."

Namjoon’s heart dropped at Jungkook’s words. His mouth went dry, and the tension in the room thickened with every passing second. “What do you mean... I was involved?” Namjoon stammered, eyes flicking between his brothers and the police.
