Namjoon was sitting inside the prison when he suddenly heard footsteps. He didn't looked up thinking it was another one of his brother, YN or maybe the police.

The footsteps came to an hault and Namjoon waited for the person to speak.

After a minute of silence or so a voice came that Namjoon didn't expected to hear. "Namjoon"

He immediately looked up and saw Joo-young standing infront of him. His eyes widened and he stood up going near the bars.

"Joo-young... Please believe me. I didn't killed Minji. You know me. I am your bestfriend. I could never," Namjoon cried out.

Joo-young didn't said anything and just stared at Namjoon with an unreadable expression.

Namjoon clutched the bars, his voice shaking. "Joo-young, please. You know me. You know I wouldn't... I couldn't do something like this."

Joo-young's face remained unreadable as he crossed his arms, eyes fixed on Namjoon without a hint of warmth. "I thought I knew you, Namjoon," he said slowly, his voice cold and distant. "But now? I don't know what to believe."

Namjoon's chest tightened at his friend's words. "Joo-young, I swear. I barely remember what happened, but I'd never hurt Minji. She was like family to me."

Joo-young shook his head, a bitter smile on his lips. "It's just... hard to believe when the last person she was seen with is you. When everyone points to you. And now, you can't even explain what happened that night."

Namjoon felt a wave of frustration rise, fighting to keep himself together. "You have to trust me, Joo-young. I'm being framed. I don't remember it all, but I know I didn't do this. I know it!"

Joo-young's eyes narrowed, and he stepped closer to the bars. "How do you expect me to believe you, Namjoon, when you can't even remember the night? You were the one with her. You were the one who offered to go to there t get my wallet. And now... now she's gone."

Namjoon's shoulders slumped, desperation clawing at him. "Joo-young... don't you think if I did it, I'd remember something? Some... some detail?" He swallowed, searching his friend's face for any sign of belief.

But Joo-young's expression remained steely. "Maybe you're just a really good liar." he said quietly, "Or maybe... you really didn't do anything after all," he said with a small smirk on his face.

Namjoon felt a chill run down his spine at Joo-young's words, that smirk making everything feel even more unsettling. "What... what are you saying?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

Joo-young tilted his head, studying Namjoon's face with a strange amusement. "I'm just saying," he replied with a shrug, "maybe things aren't as simple as they seem. Maybe I know more than I let on." He took a step back, his smirk widening. "Or maybe you're exactly where you're supposed to be, Namjoon."
