Kenzie was snoring slightly in her bed. She was sleeping sooo good.
Kali, her mom, yelled, "KENZIE, WAKE UP!". But Kenzie was sleeping too good.
5 minutes later, Kali started banging on the door, "KENZIE NOELLE!". Kenzie still didn't move.
Kenzies sister, Kaor came into her room and started shaking her, "Kenzie!!"
The movement made Kenzie finally wake up, but not all the way. Her eyes were still closed but she could still hear. "Huh?"
"Cmon' we gotta get ready for school." Kaor said. Kenzie stretched but didn't say anything.
"Bro, get up kenzie!" Kaor rushed.
"Ok damn, can you gimme a second?"she muttered. Kenzie hated being rushed. Especially when she just woke up.
Kaor just walked out, not closing the door behind her. Kenzie finally got up and walked into the bathroom. Kaor was already in there doing her face routine.
Kaor looked at her sister through the mirror. "Oh, look who's finally up."
Kenzie just rolled her eyes. Kenzie and Kaor had a really good relationship, Kenzie just hated mornings.
"I can't wait to see my mannn." Kaor did a little dance.
"Here you go." Kenzie shook her head at her sister.
"Jealous?"
"Girl please, ion need no man." Kenzie started to rinse her face off.
"So why you always hating on me and Enzo then?" she turned to look at her sister.
"Girl bye, that's jus yo imagination." she dried her face off.
"Tuh ! Anyways." Kaor walked out. Kenzie finished her routine and walked out.
She made it onto her closet and looked for something to wear. She didnt feel like going to school today. She was glad she only had a few months yet. Anyways, she found a cute, but simple outfit.

She finished getting dressed and made her way downstairs. Her mom and little sister, Kori, were sitting on the couch. "Good morning." Kenzie looked at her mom.
"Good morning. You ready fa school?" she looked at her oldest daughter.
"No." she thought about the long hours she would be away from her bed.
"Welp that's too bad. You can go wait in the car." Kali said as she pulled her phone out. Kenzie rolled her eyes and walked to the car.
As she was walking to the door that went into the garage, she heard her mom yell, "KAOR CMON' I GOTTA GO TO WORK!"
Kenzie made it into the car. She pulled her phone out and scrolled on pinterest. After a few minutes, everybody else got into the car.
Kali turned the car on, "Yall might have to catch a ride with friends cs me and kori got a some stuff to do after work." She pulled out of the driveway.
"Okay, i'll probably get a ride wit Enzo." Kaor said, not looking up from her phone.
"Ok, and you'll catch a ride with Rylo?" Kali looked at her daughter before looking at the road again.
"No, prolly get a ride from dad." Kenzie looked out the window.
"Why not?"
"Ionk-" Kenzie got cut off.
"it's cus Rylo got a new girlfriend."Kaor cut in.
"What that gotta do with Kenzie?"
"His girl don't like kenzie, and made Rylo stop talking to her. So nowww, Kenzie and Rylo not friends no more."
"Damn, all because of some girl?"
"I guess so." Kenzie shrugged. Yesterday was actually Rylos birthday and Kenzie missed doing his birthday tradition. "I'll just text dad to come get me."
"Mommy can I go with daddy?"
"Maybe another day." Kali said as she turned right.
Kori started whining, "But, i wanna go today!"
"Kori, what i say?"
Kori began crying, "It's not fairrrr!"
"Koriana, cut allat crying out." She glared at her through the rear view mirror.
At School
Kenzie was at her locker, getting her books for her 1st period. She soon felt someone's presence behind her.
"Ken..." a deep voice spoke from behind her. She turned around.
"What Rylo?"
"Can we talk?" he really hoped she would hear him out.
"ok...talk." she honestly didn't care but she still wanted to know.
"ight... what's goin on between us?"
"Ionk Rylo. You tell me." she crossed her arms.
"I'm sorry for ghosting you."
"Mhm.. you also blocked me. On everything."
"I didn't block you."
"Mmh, well i tired calling and texting you and nothing went through." she didn't want to sound hurt even though she was.
"I jus thought you ain wanna talk ta me."
"No Rylo." she fought the urge to roll her eyes.
"You don't believe me, do you?"
"No, Rylo i don't."
"Well ionk wha you want me to say or do fa you ta believe me."
"Ionk either. I gotta go to class." she closed her locker and walked off.
