Rylo moved back to sacramento 2years ago because he missed his family and because of something else.
Rylo and Enzo walked into the roof where the "pool" party was being held. Just like he expected, nobody was in the pool.
It was lowkey crowded but it was 9:30 so he knew it would get even more crowded than this.
"Damn, it's already hella people here and it's 9:30." Enzo said as he observed the place.
"Hell yea. I like the vibe up here tho."
"Fasho." he looked over to the drink table, "I'm finna go get me some Casamigos. You want sum?"
"Yea." Rylo ordered them a uber to and from so they could drink however much they wanted. Rylo walked over to the seating area and sat down.
He pulled out a bag of pre-rolled blunts and pulled on out. He put the bag back in his pocket.
He reached in his other pocket and pulled his lighter out and lit it.
He took a long pull and ghosted it. He did that a few more times before his phone started ringing.
He answered the phone. "Yoo."
"Don't "yoo" me nigga." Liyah mocked his voice, "Yo daughter want you."
"Lemme talk ta her." Liyah handed the phone to Adore. "Daddyyy." she whined.
"Wsp princess?"
"Wea you at. Why you not at home?"
"I'm at my cousins birthday party. Ima be back ina couple hours." he moved the phone out of his face a took a pull from the blunt blowing it out afterwards.
"Otay." she yawned. "Me going to sleep." she hung up the phone. Rylo laughed and continued to smoke.
A few minutes later
Enzo and Rylo were sitting on the couch and were a little tipsy. "Ayo there go Kaor and Kenzie." Enzo said getting up to greet his girlfriend.
Rylo looked ahead and his eye met with Kenzies. They had a staring contest for a few seconds until something in the carrier she was holding started getting restless.
She put the carrier down took the dog out. She put the carrier under the table. She held the dog in her arms. She went over to some girls and they started talking.
He couldn't keep his eyes off her. "Rylo."
Enzo snapped his fingers in Rylos faces. "Instead of eye fuckin ha, why youn go say sumn." he said referring to her.
He smacked his teeth, "Mane ain't nobody eye fuckin her."
"Rylo you was totally eye fuckin my sister." Kaor addded.
"Sheon even wanna talk to me." he slumped in his seat.
"Youn know that, it's been 5 years." Kaor said.
"Right. Go try to make conversation." Enzo urged.
Rylo thought about it before getting up and walking over to where Kenzie was at. It had been so long since he'd last seen her, he forgot how pretty she was.
She had finally looked over at him. They had another staring contest before Rylo decided to speak, "Kenzie."
"Heyy. Sorry ian recognize you at first." she spread her arms out for a hug. Rylo was shocked and just stared at her. Kenzie laughed a lil, "I cant get a hug?"
