"I still like you.." he stated without looking at her, "I just didn't know until i seen you the other day, at the party."
"Oh." Kenzie didn't know what to say.
"Oh?" he repeated.
"Yea i mean, what do you want me to say?" she looked at him.
"Do you like me back?"
"I- Rylo it's time to sing happy birthday." Liyah cut kenzie off. "Aigh." he walked away with Liyah. Kenzie watched him. So many thoughts going through her head.
She pulled her phone out and called Kaor. She answered on the second ring, "Heyy boo- where you at?" Kaor asked seeing she was outside.
"At Rylo daughter birthday party."
"WHAT?!" she yelled, "Did you know he had a baby?"
"I found out the other day but today confirmed that it's his."
"Oh woww. What's wrong? You seemed bothered."
"Rylo just told me he liked me back all those years ago and he still does. He said that he didn't know until he saw me at the party."
Kaors mouth fell agape, "Girl wtf. Do you?"
"No. I don't know." she said honestly. "I don't think so." she said the last part uncertain.
"Oh my gosh. I need a drink." Kaor shook her head.
"You can't drink anymore." Enzo laughed in the background. "Enzo shut the fuck up!" Kaor kicked him.
Kenzie raised an eyebrow, "Why can't you drink?"
"I can drink. He's just playing around. Anywho, where he at now?" she asked changing the subject.
"They're singing happy birthday. I think i'm finna leave tho."
"Okay, you wanna come over here?"
"Yea."
"Okay." she smiled and hung up. kenzie started walking to the car. "Aye Kenzie!" Rylo yelled out. She turned around, "Yea?"
Without thinking, Rylo grabbed her neck and smashed their lips together. Kenzie closed her and leaned back on the car, moaning into kiss.
He pulled away and began kissing her neck. "W-wait." she said breathlessly. "Rylo, stop." she pushed him a little. He stopped kissing her neck and looked at her. "What?"
"I-We can't." she frowned.
"Why not?"
"Cus i- we just can't. I have to go." she opened the door to her Tesla, pressed Kaors address and it drove off.
Kenzie thought about the kiss, the whole 15 minute drive to Kaors house. Why didn't she pull away? Why didn't she stop him sooner? Why did she let him kiss his neck even though she already had hickeys which she tried to cover up. Why did she enjoy the kiss? Why did she want to kiss to last longer?
She finally made it to Kaors house. She thought about telling Kaor about what happened, but at the same time, she would make it a big deal.
She got out the car, walked up the driveway, and knocked on the door. While she was waiting, she got a text from Zachari.
