Kenzie had just gotten dropped off by her dad. Nobody was home so she went up to her to change into some biker shorts and her sports bra.
She got in her bed and quickly dozed off. 8 minutes later, somebody facetimed her. Her phone was on DND, so they had to call more than once.
Kenzie was a real heavy sleeper so she didn't hear the calls. The person eventually stopped calling but 24 minutes later, there was knock at the front door.
The knock became harder and they eventually started banging on the door. Kenzie jumped out of her sleep and rubbed her eyes.
"Who the fu-" she cut herself off and got up and walked downstairs. She looked through the peephole and then opened the door.
"Rylo what are you doing here?"
"I've missed you Ken."
"Ok Rylo."
"Ok? that's all?"
"Well what the fuck you want me ta do?"
"I-"
"Act like yo bitch ass ain't talk to me for 4 fucking months?" she looked in his eyes so he could know how she felt, "Were friends since the 3rd grade rylo and all it took was 3 weeks for you to never talk to me again." she looked away as she felt her eyes tearing up.
"Ik that's why i'm trying to apologize." he felt really bad for hurting his best friend they way he did.
"apologies don't mean shit rylo. They're just fucking words."
"Well what do you want me to do?"
"Show me you're sorry."
"Ight."
"Ok." she wiped the tear that was rolling down her face.
Rylo left the house and Kenzie went back upstairs.
She got in her bed and grabbed her remote and turned on 'Grownish'. She grabbed her phone and went to the doordash app. She ordered some Mcdonald's and then closed the app.
She turned off her phone and watched the show. Her phone began ringing. She picked it up and answered. "Hello?"
"Kenzieeee!" Kaor yelled.
"What?"
"Tell me why, Rylo just broke up with Liyah?!"
"Really?" Kenzie was shocked. It hadn't even been 45 minutes since he left.
"Yesss, and she pregnanttt. She posting all this stuff about being a single mother."
"Ew."
Kaor cackled, "That's what i said. But Rylo said they ain't even fuck so, i don't know who to believe."
"Welp, whatever they got goin on, ain got shit to do with me."
"Period. Anyways, i'll be home by like 8."
"Ok." They both hung up. "He wasn't playing." Kenzie thought to herself.
15 minutes later
Kenzie was eating her food, while thinking about what Rylo did. She wondered if it was because, she made him stop talking to her or if it was because she was crazy.
Kenzie didn't know why Rylo even liked Liyah. They were completely opposite.
Kenzie finished eating her food and cleaned up her trash. She sat back down and thought about going back to sleep.
She turned the volume on her tv down, got under her covers and laid down. Soon after she was in a deep sleep.
