Jade's POV
It had been two weeks since that night with Nick—the night that shifted everything between us. Ever since then, we had barely kept our hands off each other. It was like the floodgates had opened, and the intense attraction we had always shared now consumed us completely. We were spending as much time together as possible, stealing moments between my rehearsals and his film prep. The way his eyes darkened with desire every time he looked at me only fueled the fire that was always burning between us.
But tonight wasn't just another night. Tonight was huge.
I stood backstage, my heart already racing in anticipation. The Santa Monica show had been sold out for months, and I knew it would be one of the biggest performances of the year for me. I'd been working tirelessly with my band and dancers, perfecting every note, every step. This wasn't just a concert—it was a full-on spectacle, and I was ready to give the crowd something they'd never forget.
I smoothed down the fabric of my first outfit, a sparkling bodysuit that hugged my curves perfectly. My stylist fussed over a few last-minute details, but my mind was elsewhere—on Nick. I had invited him to the show, teasing him about a new song I'd written just for him. I didn't give him any specifics, just that he was going to love it. A part of me wondered what his reaction would be when I performed "Juno"—the song that had been inspired by every intimate moment we'd shared, every late-night whisper that made me want him even more.
Juno was... different. It was playful, sexy, and downright horny. I had poured every ounce of that raw desire I felt for Nick into the lyrics, especially in the bridge, where I didn't hold back at all. And tonight, I would be debuting it in front of thousands of people, with Nick watching from the VIP section. My heart raced at the thought. Would he get what I was really saying in the song? Would he catch the hidden messages meant only for him?
I smirked to myself. Of course, he would.
The lights dimmed, and I could hear the roar of the crowd growing louder. It was time.
Nick's POV
Sitting in the VIP section, I couldn't take my eyes off the stage. Jade hadn't given me any details about the song she'd written for me, but I was more than curious. Ever since that night two weeks ago, things between us had been intense—in the best possible way. We were practically inseparable, and when we weren't together, I found myself thinking about her nonstop. The way she moved, the way she smiled, the way she drove me absolutely crazy with just a look.
The lights flashed, and suddenly, there she was—Jade, stepping onto the stage like she owned the world. She was stunning, wrapped in some kind of sparkling outfit that caught the light perfectly, accentuating every curve of her body. The crowd erupted, and I couldn't help but grin. This was her moment, and I was damn proud to be here for it.
She launched into her first song, and the energy in the room skyrocketed. I watched her every move, mesmerized by the way she commanded the stage. Song after song, she nailed it, each costume change more dazzling than the last. I knew she was a star, but seeing her like this, performing with such fire—it reminded me just how lucky I was.
Halfway through the show, she took a brief break to talk to the crowd, her voice breathless but filled with excitement. "How's everyone feeling tonight?" she shouted, her smile lighting up the entire venue. The crowd roared in response.
"I've got a special song for you all," she said, her eyes flickering briefly to where I sat, a secret smile playing on her lips. "I wrote it recently... for someone very special. You know who you are." She winked, and my heart skipped a beat.
The music started, a sultry beat filling the arena as Jade swayed to the rhythm. The stage lights dimmed, casting her in an alluring glow as the first notes of the song echoed through the speakers.
