Jade's POV
As soon as the hotel room door clicked shut behind us, the night seemed to settle into an almost electric silence. The adrenaline of the concert still hummed through my veins, a tangible buzz that hadn't faded since I'd stepped off the stage. Madison Square Garden, sold out, filled with thousands of fans singing my lyrics back to me—it was everything I had dreamed of and more. But now, here in the quiet of our suite, all I could think about was Nick.
He was leaning against the door, watching me with that intense gaze that made my stomach flip. There was a warmth in his eyes, a glint that hinted at the passion simmering just beneath the surface. Slowly, he pushed off the door, his hands sliding into his pockets as he crossed the room, his eyes never leaving mine.
"You were incredible tonight," he said, his voice a low rumble that sent shivers down my spine. "I couldn't keep my eyes off you."
I felt a blush rise to my cheeks, my pulse quickening as he stepped closer. "Really? I could've sworn you were checking out the crowd," I teased, though my voice was a little breathless.
Nick chuckled, reaching out to brush a strand of hair away from my face. "Oh, I was watching the crowd... watching them lose their minds over you." His fingers lingered against my cheek, his touch warm and reassuring. "But believe me, the whole time, I was thinking about this."
He leaned down, his lips capturing mine in a kiss that was soft at first, but quickly deepened, his hand sliding to the small of my back, pulling me close. The room melted away, the only thing grounding me was the heat of his touch, the taste of him, and the way his fingers threaded through my hair, holding me there as if he never wanted to let go.
As the kiss deepened, I felt his hand slide down, resting at the curve of my waist before slipping lower, his fingers grazing the fabric of my dress. The thrill that had been building all night bloomed into something hotter, more urgent, and I found myself pulling him toward the bed, our laughter mingling with quiet, breathless gasps.
He paused, his hands finding the zipper of my dress. His gaze met mine, a question in his eyes, and I nodded, giving him permission. Slowly, he slid the zipper down, the fabric falling away to reveal my skin inch by inch. His gaze was intense, reverent, as he took in every inch of me, his hands leaving a trail of warmth wherever they touched.
His lips grazed my shoulder as he guided me back onto the bed. He leaned down, placing his lips on mine, and I began unbuttoning his shirt, slipping it out of his body, and onto the floor. He pulled away from the kiss and looked at me, laying on the bed completely naked.
"You have no idea how much I've wanted this," he murmured.
I smiled, reaching up to pull him down to me, our bodies fitting together like they were meant to. As soon as I whispered, "Then don't make me wait any longer," a flicker of intensity transformed Nick's gaze, darkening with a raw hunger that sent shivers through me. Without hesitation, he crushed his lips against mine, the urgency in his kiss drawing a gasp from my throat. I felt the world blur as he guided me back onto the bed, his lips never leaving mine, moving in a fierce, intoxicating rhythm that left me breathless.
His hands began to explore my body, trailing slowly down the curve of my waist, tracing my form with a reverent touch that still held a hint of roughness. His fingers found their way to my breast, his touch lingering there, caressing and kneading with a teasing pressure that sent heat flooding through me. My heart raced as his fingers circled the sensitive peak, his thumb grazing over it in a way that had me arching my back instinctively, pressing myself closer to him. Each brush of his hand sent sparks of electricity through me, leaving me breathless and aching for more.
