Jade's POV
The lights dimmed again, and the first few notes of "Juno" reverberated through the stadium, sending a familiar thrill through me. This was the moment they had been waiting for. The moment I had been waiting for. It was the song that had taken the world by storm, the one that had shot up to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and Spotify alike. But more than that, it was Nick's song, the one I had written with him in mind, every lyric laced with the playful, sexy energy that defined us.
As the music swelled, I walked to the edge of the stage, the crowd's excitement buzzing around me like electricity. My eyes scanned the front rows until I spotted a young man, his face alight with awe and anticipation. He was cute, probably in his early twenties, with messy brown hair and a wide smile that only grew bigger the closer I got to him.
I put on a surprised look, pretending to notice something unbelievable. "Hold on, hold on... wait a second," I called out, halting the music. The crowd hushed, and I grinned, loving the way they were hanging on my every word.
"Girls, come here!" I waved over three of my female dancers, and they joined me, exchanging curious glances. The audience buzzed with anticipation.
I pointed at the fan and gasped dramatically, clutching one of my dancer's arms. "Oh my God, I think I just saw my future husband! Don't let him leave!" My dancers all put on exaggerated looks of surprise, their eyes going wide as they high-fived me like we were in on a secret joke.
The cameras zoomed in on him, projecting his face onto the massive screens on stage. The crowd roared, loving every second of it, and the fan's cheeks flushed red as he glanced around nervously, but the grin on his face was undeniable.
I sauntered over to the edge of the stage, leaning down to meet his gaze. "What's your name, sir?" I asked, my voice soft but teasing.
He hesitated for a moment, overwhelmed by the attention. "David," he managed, his voice barely loud enough to reach the mic.
"David," I repeated, nodding approvingly. "And what's your last name, David?"
"Clark," he said a little louder, his voice shaking with excitement.
I pressed a hand to my chest, feigning shock. "Jade Clark... oh my God, it has a beautiful ring to it, doesn't it?" I glanced back at my dancers, who all nodded enthusiastically, and the crowd erupted into laughter and cheers. David laughed too, clearly enjoying the attention despite his initial nerves.
Then, with a sly smile, I turned to one of my dancers, who handed me a pair of pink fuzzy handcuffs—the same ones from the song. I held them up for the audience to see, the crowd going wild as they recognized the prop.
I leaned down again, this time handing the handcuffs to David, my smile turning flirtatious. "Here," I said, biting my bottom lip playfully. "You're really hot. You might need these later."
The crowd screamed, and David's eyes went wide as he took the handcuffs, his face flushing even redder. But there was a huge grin on his face, and his friends were losing it beside him, slapping him on the back and cheering.
Just as the moment seemed to peak, one of my dancers reached for the waistband of my long, flowy pants, giving them a quick tug. The fabric slid to the floor, revealing the sparkly bodysuit underneath. The fans screamed even louder, and I couldn't help but laugh as I kicked the pants away.
"Sir, my pants are falling off for you!" I joked, tossing my hair over my shoulder with a laugh. The entire stadium erupted into laughter, the playful tone of the performance sending waves of joy through the crowd.
But now, it was time to turn up the heat. I shot David one last sultry glance before spinning back toward the center of the stage, the music swelling as the intro to "Juno" began in earnest. The lights shifted, casting a pink hue over everything as I moved to the heart-shaped platform that had been rolled out for this song.
