After the heartfelt proposal from Hanguang Jun, Wei Wuxian, and Lan Wangji returned to their cozy inn, a mix of elation and warmth enveloping them. The evening air was crisp outside, but inside, a gentle glow from the lanterns added a comforting ambiance to their space.

As they settled in, excitement coursed through Wei Wuxian, making it impossible for him to drift into sleep. He rolled over restlessly, glancing at Lan Wangji, who lay beside him, still wrapped in a sleepy haze. With a playful grin, he nudged Lan Wangji gently.

"Wei Ying?" Lan Wangji mumbled, his voice thick with sleep and a hint of curiosity.

In response, Wei Wuxian pouted playfully, snuggling closer to him, his head fitting perfectly against Lan Wangji's chest. The rhythmic sound of Lan Wangji's heartbeat was soothing, yet the thrill of the day kept Wei Wuxian wide awake.

"Thank you for today," he whispered softly, his voice filled with sincerity as he looked up into Lan Wangji's eyes, shimmering with affection.

"I'm the one who should be thankful," Lan Wangji replied, his tone earnest as he brushed his fingers gently through the hair at the back of Wei Wuxian's head. "It's a blessing to have you as my spouse."

As the reality of their union settled around them, Lan Wangji glanced at the clock on the wall. "Let's sleep for now; it's already 9:00 p.m.," he gently insisted, his voice steady and comforting. He moved to extinguish the flickering candlelight, casting a warm, dim glow within the room as shadows danced around them.

With a soft sigh, Lan Wangji settled down beside Wei Wuxian, pulling him into a warm embrace. Wei Wuxian felt the world around him fade as he nestled against Lan Wangji, finally lulled into a state of tranquility, ready to embrace the dreams of tomorrow.

Wei Wuxian's P.O.V

Another bustling day at Lotus Pier began, the sun casting a gentle glow through the window. I was stirred awake by the lively chatter of the juniors, their excitement palpable as they discussed the wedding preparations. My heart raced when I recalled what Lan Zhan had said: he wanted us to get married in just three days. The thought was overwhelming. When I turned to look at our bed, I noticed that he had already picked out a stunning robe for me, and various hair clips adorned the sheets, hinting at the meticulous details he'd planned.

Lan Zhan was not in our room; instead, he had gone off to confer with Zewu Jun and Jiang Cheng, perhaps discussing last-minute arrangements. In the meantime, Huaisang was lounging in the corner of the room, a mischievous glint in his eyes as he watched my flurry of activity.

I desperately needed his help to find the perfect robe, so I slipped into the first one he'd suggested. As I twirled in front of the mirror, Huaisang's expression shifted from curiosity to disbelief.

"Wei Ying, that doesn't suit you," he remarked, fanning himself dramatically, his voice laced with mock concern.

I sighed and rolled my eyes, already exhausted from the effort. I tried on robe after robe, hoping to find one that would please both Huaisang and my own sense of style. Each time, his reaction was the same—disappointment etched across his face.

After several attempts, frustration crept in as I ran out of options. "Are you sure the others don't suit me?" I asked, my voice tinged with despair, feeling the weight of expectation on my shoulders.

He nodded in a resigned manner, and together we let out a deep sigh, the stress of the impending wedding hanging heavy in the air. Just then, a knock interrupted our moment. I opened the door to find my nephew, Jin Ling, standing there, a robe draped over his arm.
