Author's P.O.V

2 a.m in the morning. Lan Zhan woke up because of horniness. He wanted to touch his husband so badly but he was scared to touch Wei Wuxian. Because Wei Ying is pregnant after all. He tried to distract himself and meditate in their living room but he kept glancing at Wei Wuxian who was sleeping peacefully in their bed with his legs spread out.

Lan Zhan gulped. He couldn't take it anymore he decided to lie down and pull Wei Wuxian closer to him. He slowly inserted a finger inside Wei Wuxian's slowly. Just to make sure he's not hurt. After 3 minutes he's done. And told himself to stop because Wei Ying was pregnant he didn't want to hurt his husband.

He kissed Wei Wuxian and drifted to sleep.

Jiang Cheng's P.O.V

I awoke earlier than expected, lulled by the serene ambiance of Cloud Recesses, where the gentle sound of water cascaded all around. With a soft determination, I decided to seek out A Ling and invite him to breakfast, only to be taken aback upon discovering he wasn't in his room.

Momentary panic set in, but relief washed over me when I spotted a maiden nearby. I inquired if she had seen my nephew, and she informed me that A Ling was with the Juniors, sharing breakfast at the dining table by the falls.

Quietly, I made my way toward them, observing A Ling as he playfully fed Sizhui a piece of chicken. A smile crept onto my lips, and I glanced skyward. "Shizie, your child is truly turning out like his Uncle Wei—shameless. But fear not; as long as I am here, no one will dare harm him," I promised my sister above, feeling a warmth in my heart.

After a moment, the Juniors noticed my presence, hastily bowing and greeting me. I urged them to enjoy their meal while I waited for Lan Wangji, Wei Ying, and Zewu Jun.

Speaking of Zewu Jun, he appeared almost immediately. I averted my gaze, feeling a familiar discomfort about expressing my feelings to him. He met my eyes and inclined his head politely. "Sect Leader Jiang, good morning."

I returned the gesture. "Good morning, Sect Leader Lan."

Zewu Jun informed me that Wei Ying and Lan Wangji would be resting until the afternoon, as Lan Wangji was immersed in meditation while Wei Ying still slumbered.

As Zewu Jun and I ate in a rather awkward silence, he broke the stillness. "Sect Leader Jiang, what are your thoughts on this year's night hunt?"

I cleared my throat, gathering my thoughts. "I think it will be exciting."

He raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Hmm, it's better here, don't you think, Sect Leader Jing?"

I nodded, returning to my meal, eager to avoid further conversation. Memories flickered in my mind, haunting reminders of my near confession to him.
