Wei Wuxian's P.O.V

We began the day with a hearty breakfast, enjoying the warmth of the morning sun as it filtered through the windows. My fiancé, Hanguang Jun, and I chatted excitedly about our upcoming wedding, sharing our dreams and plans for the day. Just as we were getting lost in our conversation, a sudden, firm knock echoed through the room.

Lan Zhan, always attentive, stood up to open the door. The moment he did, he was met with a flustered Jingyi, who was panting heavily as if he had sprinted a long distance. Concern creased Lan Zhan's forehead as he quickly asked, "What happened?"

Breathless, Jingyi managed to explain between gasps, "Hanguang Jun! Sizhui and Jin Ling got into a fight again."

My eyes widened in disbelief. "What?!" I exclaimed, hastily getting to my feet. Lan Zhan and I exchanged worried glances before quickly following Jingyi down the corridor, curious and anxious to see what was unfolding.

As we approached the commotion, we noticed a crowd of onlookers, their faces a mixture of concern and intrigue. We politely maneuvered through the throng, making our way to the center of the disturbance. There, amid a sea of curious spectators, stood Sizhui and Jin Ling, looking less like opponents in a brawl and more like two friends caught up in a moment of heated discussion.

Turning to Jingyi, I raised an eyebrow. "You said they were fighting!"

Jingyi scratched his head sheepishly. "Well, I thought they were," he admitted, shrugging his shoulders in uncertainty.

With an eye roll, I approached Sizhui to get his side of the story. But before I could even greet him, Jin Ling piped up, his finger pointing accusingly towards a group of Jin clan juniors who were loitering nearby.

"They were teasing Sizhui, and I got annoyed, so I ended up confronting them," Jin Ling explained, a hint of pride in his tone. His attitude was unmistakably defensive, as if he believed that challenging the juniors was a show of loyalty rather than a reckless decision.

As the tension held in the air, I couldn't help but notice the look of gratitude on Sizhui's face, indicating that, despite the drama, there was a sense of camaraderie among them. The situation was far from what I had expected, but with a sigh, I realized that it was just another day filled with the unpredictable chaos that seemed to follow our juniors.

"Of course you defend Lan Junior! It's obvious you have a crush on him!" The Jin Junior taunted, his voice dripping with mockery. Before either Lan Zhan or I could react, Jin Ling's eyes blazed with anger, and he lunged forward, fists clenched. The atmosphere crackled with tension as the two began to fight, throwing punches and grappling with each other.

I cast a desperate glance at Lan Zhan, hoping he could intervene.

Understanding my silent plea, Lan Zhan calmly gathered his spiritual power, his expression resolute. With a graceful movement, he drew upon his energy to pull the two combatants apart, creating an invisible barrier between them that halted their struggle.

"You—" Jin Ling began to protest, but before he could finish, Lan Zhan swiftly cast a silence spell over him, effectively rendering him mute.

"Both of you, stop this at once," Lan Zhan commanded in a firm, authoritative tone that brooked no argument.

I stepped closer to Jin Ling, my heart heavy with concern as I prepared to scold him. "A Ling, fighting isn't the answer. This isn't how we resolve our differences."

Jin Ling only lowered his gaze, appearing both frustrated and ashamed, the fight visibly draining from him.

Turning my attention to Sizhui, I sighed in exasperation. "A Yuan."
