#3: Ending

9 4 6

Far away, across a bay,

Between two shafts of light,

A maiden stands, head in hands,

She looks like firelight.

As she weeps, the dawn does creep,

And washes away her tears,

The end is near, she's too sincere,

She has nothing left to fear.

Her lover gone, she can't keep on,

Her will to live has gone,

She turns away, towards the bay,

She leaps and she is gone.

Author's Note: Wow, that was kind of dark. Sorry about that. *sheepish smile* It just comes over me sometimes. Hope you liked it anyway! Please, if any of you are feeling this kind of thing, don't hesitate to message me to talk. =)
