#31: Garden Bridge

In the garden you will find,

An ancient wooden bridge,

Weathered, warm, and very lined,

It's reflection a perfect image.

The pool it cradles is round and deep,

A willow tree shades the shore,

The grassy bank's not very steep,

On the water are lilies galore.

The bridge has stood for ages past,

It's surface growing sleek,

It's beams and boards were built to last,

As it moves, a gentle creak.

A child runs across the bridge,

The parents laugh and follow,

They look around as they reach the ridge,

At the flowers around and below.
