#28: Rose Fairy

18 3 4

Somewhere deep within a rose,

Softly glowing stands,

A fairy small,

Just one inch tall,

She knows of all the land.

Inside her flower home,

She sits upon a stone,

A grain of sand,

Small as her hand,

She sits and makes things grow.

Her bed so soft's a blade of grass,

It's comfy as can be,

She lies asleep,

Through rain and sleet,

To wake when green spring grows.

And even through the winter cold,

Though snow and ice may fall,

She stays at home,

So dry and warm,

Inside her lovely rosebud home.
