Introduction:

Chapter 11 focuses on the tense and emotional interaction between Kai and Miyu after she and Haruka find a way into his house.

Page 1-3: Miyu Enters Kai's Room

The chapter begins with Miyu standing in the doorway of Kai's darkened room. The air is thick with silence, and Kai sits on the edge of his bed, staring blankly at the floor. Tear stains are still fresh on his cheeks, and his posture is slumped with the weight of his grief.

Miyu (whispering): "Kai..."

Miyu steps into the room cautiously, her eyes scanning the disheveled state of his surroundings. The blinds are half-closed, letting only a faint light into the room. Clothes and objects are scattered across the floor, untouched for days. She notices the uneaten food on his desk, further proof that something is terribly wrong.

Miyu (internal monologue, concerned): "He looks so... broken. What happened while he was gone?"

Kai doesn't move or acknowledge her presence. The only sound is the faint rustling of the curtains in the breeze.

Page 4-6: Haruka Joins

Behind Miyu, Haruka hesitates at the doorway, unsure of how to approach the situation. She's not as close to Kai, but she can see something is deeply wrong.

Haruka (softly):
"Are you okay, Kai? You've been gone for days... We were worried."

There's no response. Kai's eyes remain locked on the floor, distant, as if he's not really there. Haruka looks at Miyu, her eyes asking if they should stay or leave, but Miyu refuses to go without finding out what's going on.
Miyu (gently):
"Kai... can you tell us what's going on? You're scaring us."

Kai finally lifts his head slightly, but his gaze is empty, hollow. He looks at Miyu, but there's no recognition in his expression. He's completely closed off.

Kai's voice is hoarse when he finally speaks, barely a whisper.

Kai (quietly, emotionless): "How... how did you get in?"

Miyu and Haruka exchange glances, unsure of how to respond. Haruka shifts uncomfortably, but Miyu stays calm, sensing that Kai is trying to push them away.

Haruka (nervously):
"Your door wasn't locked... I guess we were able to just... come in."

Miyu glances at Kai's face more closely and notices the tear stains on his cheeks. Her heart tightens. She instinctively wants to comfort him, but she doesn't know how to without pushing him further away.

Miyu (concerned, gently):
"Kai... you've been crying. What happened? Is something wrong with your mom?"

At the mention of his mother, Kai's entire body stiffens. His fists tighten until his knuckles turn white, and he feels the sharp sting of grief welling up inside him again.

Kai (strained):
"Don't... talk about her."

Miyu takes a step back, realizing she hit a nerve, but now she's even more worried. Something terrible has happened-she can see it in his eyes, in the way he's closed off from the world.

Miyu (softly):
"Please... tell us what's wrong. We're your friends, Kai. You don't have to go through this alone."

Page 13-15: Kai's Pain

Kai stands up abruptly, turning his back on them. His shoulders tremble as he tries to hold in the tears, but the emotional wall he's built is cracking under the weight of his loss.

Kai (voice breaking):
"You don't get it... I am alone."

Miyu and Haruka are taken aback by the intensity of his words. Haruka looks visibly uncomfortable, while Miyu steps forward again, refusing to let Kai shut them out.
Miyu (firmly but gently):
"No, you're not. You have us. We're here, Kai."

Kai shakes his head, his voice rising with frustration and pain.

Kai (shouting):
"You don't understand! My mom... my mom is dead!"

The words hang in the air like a heavy weight, and both Miyu and Haruka freeze in shock. Kai's chest heaves as he struggles to breathe through his sobs, his emotions finally breaking free.

Miyu's eyes widen in horror, and Haruka gasps, covering her mouth. They didn't expect this-couldn't have imagined what Kai was going through.

Miyu (whispering, shaken):
"Kai... I'm so sorry. I didn't know..."

Kai turns to face them, tears streaming down his face now, his body trembling with the effort of holding himself together. He's on the edge, completely vulnerable, and the weight of everything is too much for him to bear.

Kai (broken):
"She... she left me. She killed herself. And I... I didn't even notice she was suffering. I was so focused on myself, and now she's gone. I'm alone."

Miyu, without hesitation, crosses the room and wraps her arms around Kai, pulling him into a tight embrace. He stiffens at first, but then, slowly, he melts into her arms, his sobs uncontrollable.

Miyu (softly, reassuring): "You're not alone. You'll never be alone, Kai. I'm here. Haruka's here. We won't leave you."

Haruka hesitates for a moment, but seeing the raw pain in Kai's eyes, she steps closer too, placing a hand on his shoulder.

Haruka (gently):
"We're your friends. We'll be here, no matter what."

Kai collapses into their support, his body shaking as he cries into Miyu's shoulder. For the first time since his mother's death, he feels a sliver of warmth, of connection, even through the overwhelming pain.
