I was waiting for Jaden to get back from patrol, to tell him that Sasha had a girl.

I hear rustling in the bushes, I look up and started walking towards the sound. When Jaden comes out, with Ryan trailing behind.

I hear Ryan whine to my brother. God I hate Ryan so much, why did he shift into a wolf? Why couldn't he have the non dominant gene? I have no luck, hope none of the other annoying brats shift.

Jaden, my brother is a werewolf, you would say. Along with many others. His wolf has a chocolate brown coat, with dark eyes, that is impossible to tell the color. When in fact he actually looks like, not in wolf form, but as my brother. He is tall, 6' while I'm short as in 5'1" and get made fun of sometimes. While I just beat them up then. My brother though, is nice to all, even animals. My friends says he has that tall, dark, mysterious look. With dark brown long hair and almost black eyes. Jaden shares empathy with others, with ease, a rare trait.

Whereas we have Ryan, which to me is a pampered, spoiled rich kid. Just because his family has always been chief. Thinking that he might be chief some day gives me shudders.

To others Ryan might be handsome, even as a wolf, but I'm waiting for someone else to notice me. Like Todd, the third in command, but I doubt he will.

Ryan, my brother's best friend has just recently shifted. There has been celebrations for it, which I find ridiculous, and pointless. If he didn't shift he wouldn't be able to be chief.

Ryan's wolf is larger than Jaden's, with a reddish light brown coat and ice blue eyes.

Eyes don't change when you change, that's one easy way for a humans to tell us apart.

As a human Ryan could be characterized as a god if you ask my friend Sage, I will admit he is attractive. With light brown hair and about 5'10" in height. But I still hate him.

Jaden and Ryan are now shifting back into human forms. The process is only painful about the first five to maybe ten times, it isn't easy. But it gets easier, with practice.

"Lexi, what is up?" Jaden asks me.

"Um....uh...Sasha had a girl," I stuttered back. Mind you they aren't dressed all the way, boys be boys, and hates shirts.

Even though I will beat up kids picking on me, I'm still not one to be outspoken.
