I need to see her one more time, or I will never be able to sleep tonight. Is this what Grand was talking about?
After I left Grand, I started towards my home, but as I got closer. I felt the need to go the other way, to go into the woods, to where I saw her last.
Maybe I should turn into a wolf to get there faster, but being shirtless in the middle of the night will be strange. Or might even freak her out, but yet, just being in the woods might scare her.
Should I just continue, or just have another sleepless night.
'Ryan?'
'What is it Shadow?' Shadow is my wolf, I met him right before I shifted. Though I remember his voice from my childhood, but I don't remember how I could have a wolf that young.
'I smell her, can I help a little?'
'Go ahead,' I knew he would want to help. But I don't know what mates exactly mean still. Or what could happen.
After running for a few minutes Shadow tells me that she is right ahead. I stopped a few feet away from her.
I see her glance at her phone, before running straight towards me. Without even knowing that I was there. She was preoccupied with her thoughts, and I was distracted by her. That I didn't move fast enough to get out of her way, when she started to run.
She ran straight into me. When she realized she bumped into something, she looked up at me. Wondering and deep in thought.
My heart was racing as I looked at her. Was this what you feel? When you see your mate? Shadow wasn't saying anything, it was like he disappeared from me once again.
She looks worried and scared though. Does she feel the same feelings as I do, or not?
"Who are you, why are you in the woods, are you going to hurt me?" She asks, is she going to run? I wonder.
"I'm Ryan, am I going to hurt you...No. Or Grand will kill me, and I'm not ready to die yet. Why am I in the woods? I should ask you the same question. Though, I'm going to take you home. So no one hurts you, like a scary animal. Safety in numbers right? Oh, and I grew up in these woods so don't worry about me." Great, I am babbling to her, what if she is still afraid of me, or thinks I'm stalking her?
Where is Shadow though?
