Draco tried to look intimidating and unafraid, which was hard to do in your boxers, a shirt, and a pair of slippers.

"Following me around, are you Smith? I mean, I'm flattered, but it's a touch creepy, even for you."

Draco knows this is a bad idea. Knows that he should get straight to the point, tell Smith to bugger off or he'll be hexed. But Draco couldn't resist winding up the other boy.

"Trying to distract me, scum? It isn't working. How many house points do you think I should take off, hmm? 20? 30?"

Draco managed to sneer.

"Take them all if it satisfies you. I wouldn't care."

Smith pretended to think about it.

"I just might. I had a feeling you would be down here again, always breaking rules."

Draco placed a hand on his heart.

"How touching, you left your normal route for me. You're Head Boy, I take it."

Smith curled his lip.

"That's right. And as Head Boy, I will have to escort you to McGonagall for being out of bed and disrespect."

Draco looked at him incredulously.

Does he really think I'm going to go with him that easily?

Draco complied, never the less. He quietly walked behind Smith, until his brain decided to become a bother.

He had "suddenly" remembered something Blaise, a fellow Slytherin, had said. Something about Smith's father...

Now would be a good time to use that information...

Noo, Draco, he thought, no winding up, remember?

"So how's your dad?" He said in an obviously fake causal tone.

Smith stopped walking.

"What about him?" He stated evasively.

Draco was busy putting together the pieces. Blaise's mother was known for 'sleeping around', something about his father, pretty obvious if you put two and two together..

"Your mother must have given him quite the lashing after she found out that he slept with Ms.Zabini."

Smith started walking again, with a slightly faster pace.

"Don't talk about things you don't know anything about."

But Draco was on a roll. He was going to finish patronizing him, and he was stopping for no wizard.

"I believe I do know a bit about it. It's a popular topic among the Slytherins."

Well, of course it was. There were only three of them, Draco had only talked to them once, and that was what they had talked about.

Smith had tightened his grip on his wand, and was far ahead of Draco.

Draco gave him one last jab, and that was the straw that broke the camel's back.

"I don't blame him, really, your mother is nothing but a lowlife.

A pathetic, filthy little Muggle..."
