They stumbled into Transfiguration sweaty faced and breathing heavily.

"Nice of you to join us, Mr.Potter, Mr.Malfoy. Now could you kindly take your seats." McGonagall said curtly.

Both boys nodded and took separate seats on different sides of the classroom.

McGonagall continued her lesson, but Harry barely listened. He would ask Hermione about the work later. He still couldn't believe that he had just managed to make a truce with Mal-Draco, he has to get used to that-Draco, of all people, and were now on first name terms in a matter of minutes.

He looked at the boy across the room. His normally perfect hair was tousled and lying everywhere. Draco puffed a stray hair out of his eyes, and saw Harry staring. He gave him an amused look and Harry looked away quickly.

Great now he thinks I'm stalking him.

Not that Harry cared.

Maybe he did.

Just a little,

Smidgen,

Of a bit

He cared.

It's only a truce, after all. It's not like they're all of a sudden best of friends. They still have their past behind them. Which is the point. It's behind them.

Do I want to be known as friends with him?

Did I want peace, or a friend?

A friend. Another person in a truce. A not-rival?

None of them seemed to apply to his Draco.

His Draco? Harry was surprised to hear himself think that.

Think himself think that?

He shook his head. That sounded like something Hermione would pounce on and question the whole thing and up finding the secrets of the universe. Or defeat some villain. Something to that extent.

Harry tried to focus, Hermione was looking at him, and he had a feeling he would be scolded sometime in his near future.

Even though he didn't mean to, he thought of the boy as his in his head from that moment on.

Hermione had been looking at Harry, but not for the reason he thought.

When he and Draco had stumbled into class late and at the same time, Hermione had immediately begun to form an idea of what had happened.

But she still had very little to guess on.

They do seem to have made some sort of a truce, since they somewhat acknowledged the other when they walked through the door.

She looked at Harry. He had an expression on his face that she had gotten used to seeing on Draco.A faraway look in his eyes, slightly dopey smile on his face...

And Hermione knew he wasn't thinking about Ginny.

Draco and Harry had always had breathtaking passion behind their fights, she mused, I think it's doing them some good to be putting that passion towards more positive things...

Hermione chuckled as a wonderful idea came to her.

She followed Harry's gaze to Draco, and a small smile grew on her face.
