Sitting on one of the couches, Ceyane sighed as she leaned on her fist with her elbow planted on one of her thighs. She rolled her eyes at nothing in particular, wishing that she was anywhere else but here.

As to be expected, Ivory had left her for dead. She was currently on the dance floor with her other two friends, having a blast. Meanwhile, Cece was miserable and had been for the past hour.

The overly loud music was making her head hurt, it was hot as hell, and she was ready to take her heels off. If overstimulated was a person, it would be her.

Instead of tonight being 'all about her' as Ivory put it, she quickly became the least of anybody's worries.

Because she hadn't gotten up to get a drink or moved from the spot she was sitting in currently, the back of her thighs and butt were practically glued to the fabric of the couch.

The whole night felt like a waste, and that's what pissed her off the most.

As Cece sat there with her emotions in an uproar, Dakari crossed her mind. With an image of his handsome face stamped onto her brain, she couldn't help but to let a tiny grin tug at her lips.

She missed him. His smell, his smile, his embrace, and all of the above.

She wanted to be in his presence, maybe that could make up for this shitty excuse of an outing.
