𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟗𝐭𝐡, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑
𝐀𝐭𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚, 𝐆𝐀Rubbing the tiredness out of her half opened eyes, Ceyane stood in front of the bathroom mirror with her face lacking expression. The time was currently six thirty in the morning, and she had to be at work for eight.
This would be day three, and it was safe to say that she was starting to get used to getting into the swing of things.
Having a set daily schedule felt different, but it wasn't something that served as a roadblock. In fact, this was the routine and structure that she felt she needed.
Sometimes, the sleep–or lack thereof–that Ceyane got at night just didn't seem to cut it.
She'd never been clinically diagnosed with insomnia, however, she was starting to believe that she in fact dealt with it.
Even if she laid down for bed at a decent time, it could take her between an hour to two hours to actually fall asleep. Tossing and turning, restlessness, and irritation were all of the things she went through on a night to night basis.
Either that, or she was waking up multiple times throughout the night. Her body could never seem to make up its mind.
The only time she was able to rest peacefully was when she was in Dakari's arms, the feeling of being under him serving as a realm of protection and ultimate comfort. She missed that feeling.
After brushing her teeth and flossing, Cece turned the shower on. She then began to get undressed, while the water heated up to a temperature of her liking.
Stepping inside, she stood under the shower head and let the water engulf her like a warm hug. That alone had her wanting to call up Dakari and ask him if they could cuddle.
She took twenty five minutes to shower, before stepping out. Ceyane wrapped her bath towel around her wet body, the droplets rolling down her skin.
Going back to the sink, Cece grabbed her face wash and popped the cap of it open. She then squeezed the needed amount of product into her palm.
