She wasn't even a fan of the song or the artist that sung it for that matter, but it could be catchy at times.

With everything that had been going on, she decided to take some time out for herself and have a 'self care day'. Luckily she didn't have to work, so she planned to spend the whole day doing things that she liked and enjoyed.

Mental clarity and de-stressing was important. One thing she refused to do was sink back into that pit of depression that she'd just recently been able to drag herself out of.

Her first stop was a local shopping center that had places such as Sephora, Marshalls, At Home, Ross, etc.

She didn't even have a plan to buy anything initially, but now she was just picking out whatever caught her eye and what she'd be able to afford.

While in the body care section, she came across a glorious smelling body butter and spray that she liked, which led to them being placed in her cart.

To her, one of the best compliments a woman could ever receive was that she smelled good.

Ceyane was now headed to the sleep and loungewear area. She'd been seeing Juicy Couture pajama sets on Tiktok and so badly wanted to get her hands on them. Specifically the cheetah print or pink set.

As she looked through the selection of items that were in her size, she could faintly hear her phone buzzing from within her purse.

Cece took it off of her shoulder and sat it in the top portion of the basket that was made for babies and small children, unzipping the bag.

Digging through it briefly, she grabbed hold of the device and saw that Dakari was calling. He made a habit of doing so during his lunch break, which was right now.

Sighing, she stared at the screen momentarily before putting her phone back in her purse, allowing it to continue to ring.

Ceyane would be lying if she said she hadn't been ignoring and avoiding him, because she definitely had. It wasn't anything personal, she just needed some space.
