Sitting in her car outside of Essence Luxe, Ceyane breathed in and out deeply as she tried to shake the edgy feeling that clung to her.

With her arriving to the place of business ten minutes early, she was choosing to spend this small extra window of time to gather herself. Today would be her first day working, and she was undeniably nervous.

She knew that when she stepped inside, the expectations that she had for herself, as well as the ones Shannon had for her as a stylist were to be met.

Cece was grateful to be here and to be given this chance in the first place, but her gratitude didn't compare to the irresolute that she felt in this very moment.

She'd be in a new enviroment with unfamiliar faces and a mix of different personalities, while also having to adjust to the culture of the salon. It took her back to that same feeling she felt when she first started cosmetology school, only this time, the pressure was ten times worse.

"You got this, don't even trip." Cece mumbled, pep talking to herself. Her mind then drifted to Dakari, knowing that he'd tell her something very similar. She could practically hear his voice.

With five minutes left to spare, she decided to head inside. Turning her key that was in the ignition, she cut the car off then removed it.

Ceyane gathered her belongings, stepping out of the vehicle afterwards.

The weather was rather glum today. Though it was morning, the sky was a depressing shade of abalone grey. The clouds were huddled together, drawing closer as the smell of precipitation lingered in the air.

The forecast gave warning of scattered rain showers, which were scheduled to start in less than thirty minutes.

Ceyane didn't mind the rain, as long as she didn't have to drive in it. She was glad that she'd made it to work before it began to pour down, and hopefully wouldn't have to encounter it once it was time for her to go home later.

After shutting and locking the drivers side door behind her and ensuring that the others were locked as well, she made her way up to the entrance of Essence Luxe.
