𝐀𝐭𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚, 𝐆𝐀Ceyane kept her head upright and straight as she sat in the plush salon chair, Sadira standing over her with a heated 1.25 inch curling iron in her hand.
Pressing down on the metal clamp, she opened the styling tool and placed a strand of Cece's hair inside of it, before closing it and rolling the barrel upward.
Sadira kept it in place for a few seconds, before releasing the curl into her free hand. She held it there and blew on it to let it cool, before allowing the curl to drop.
Since she didn't have anyone booked for the last hour of her shift, she spent that time by giving Ceyane a quick weave with layered curls.
Cece wanted to keep things simple and classy, opting for a shorter length than what she usually wore. It had a touch of elegance, yet was sexy and gave that 'grown woman' vibe that she wanted.
Tonight would be the night that Dakari took her-well, wherever he planned on taking her. Every time she asked, he'd simply reply with 'you'll see'.
Cece tried not to pester him too much, she was just genuinely curious about what he had up his sleeve.
Anyway, Sadira fluffed out the curls with her hands until they were a looser texture, almost like beach waves, before applying some glossing serum.
"Did I eat or what?" She finally spoke, moving from in front of the mirror. Cece looked at her reflection, her face lighting up as she began to squeal in satisfaction.
She hadn't had her hair done by anyone else in so long, it almost felt foreign. These past few months, she'd been responsible for being her own everything-from hairstylist to lash tech to nail tech.
"Eat? Girl, you devoured. I'm in love!" Ceyane exclaimed, earning a laugh from Sadira.
"After you told me about your man and his plans to take you somewhere special this weekend, I just knew I had to get you right. Now depending on how things go, you'll probably need a touch up come next week." She smirked, placing her hands on her hips.
