"See you Monday, Shannon." Ceyane called out over the sound of a blow dryer, waving as she was on her way out of the salon doors.

"Bye love, have a good weekend." The woman looked up, sending her a wave and warm smile back.

"You too."

She'd completed her four hours of work for today, and was now headed to meet Ivory for lunch. They'd agreed on going to a place called Cafe Sunflower, which was located in Buckhead.

Both women had been before, and they were impressed by not only the plentiful portions of food that the establishment served, but the taste of the food itself.

It was a mid sized restaurant that was slightly ducked off, only a select few people knowing about its existence. Cafe Sunflower could easily be considered a hidden gem.

Cece walked to her car, unlocking the drivers side door before hopping inside. She started up the vehicle, the engine coming to life once she did so.

Using the Maps app on her phone, she typed in the address of her destination before pressing the green 'Go' button. It was only seventeen minutes away, which wasn't too far at all.

The whole duration of the morning while servicing clients, Ceyane tried her best to keep her mind off of what was to come. She knew that this wouldn't be a regular lunch with somebody she viewed as a sister due to their history.

No, this lunch would be a test of her courage, strength, and essentially their friendship. It could either make it or break it, but she wouldn't back down from the challenge.

As she drove, she didn't even realize how hard she was gripping the steering wheel until she happened to glance at her hands and saw that her knuckles had turned white.

Sighing, Ceyane eased up on the firm grasp that she had. If that wasn't a clear indication of her nervousness, then she didn't know what was.

Once she arrived to the cafe, she pulled into the parking lot and was able to find a spot a few spaces down from where Ivory's luxury vehicle was already parked.
