"We can easily take them," Jay says, confidently. "We'll just sneak into the castle's armoury, take everything we can take, gather a group of people who want to fight, and we'll take them all down, one by one."
"Although I like your enthusiasm, but even if we could sneak into the armoury and get all that stuff, they're with way too many," Lonnie tells her boyfriend.
"Plus, one swish with that wand, and Uma can make sure there's nothing left of us," Ben adds.
"And believe me; she absolutely would if she'd have the chance," Mal agrees.
"So, you just want to wait around as your whole kingdom gets destroyed?" Jay asks him, fiercely.
"Fine; if nothing else is going to work, we'll use your tactic," Ben promises him, although he knows he's never going to do that. They don't do war in Auradon, never have and never will.
"They don't even deserve to live anyway," Jay says.
"Anyway..." Lonnie says, moving on. "Any other suggestions then? That maybe don't contain murder?"
"Why can't we just stay here forever?" Jane asks. "I don't want to go out there, or fight them, or worse; get caught by them..."
"I don't really think that's an option," Carlos tells her, pulling her close.
"We can't let everyone get tortured by those pirates while we're sitting in here on our lazy asses for the rest of our days," Jay says.
"And the food storage is going to run out eventually," Lonnie says. "Starving to death might also not be a nice way to go..."
"But- what are we going to do then?" Troy asks. "We're only listing things we're not going to do."
"Well, I think our best shot is trying to steal the wand back," Mal suggests.
"And then what?" Jay asks, really longing for some action.
"It's their strong suit, the only thing that can defeat them, so-," Mal explains.
"We find Fairy Godmother to use it against them," Evie cuts her off.
"Hey, that's what I was going to say," Mal says, annoyed.
"But I said it first," Evie says, sticking out her tongue like a little kid.
"Alright children, let's get back to business," Carlos rolls his eyes.
"Okay, fine, so; how are we going to get that wand then?" Mal says, chuckling a bit.
"That's a good question," Troy says. "I have no idea."
"So... should we just do my plan then?" Jay asks, hopeful.
"Absolutely not," Jane tells him.
"We just have to find a way to get that wand," Troy says.
"You're saying it like it's easy," Evie says. "How on earth are we going to get in without them noticing, steal that wand and get it to Fairy Godmother?"
It's silent for a while as they're all trying to come up with something, until Ben speaks up. "I might know a way we can get to the wand," he says.
"You do?" Jay questions, sceptically.
"We obviously first have to figure out where the wand even is," he tells them.
"Yes, great plan, why didn't we all think of that," Jay says, sarcastically.
"That wasn't the whole plan," Ben tells him. "What I wanted to say is that when we find out where it is, we can use the secret passages to get to it without the pirates seeing us."
"What secret passages?" Mal asks him, confused.
"Oh right, yeah, we used them to get the wand from the royal vault when we went to get you from the pirates," Evie remembers. "They're small underground tunnels that run throughout the entire city."
"That's so cool!" Mal says, enthusiastically. "And useful; I think I'm going to use them on a regular from now on."
Ben looks sternly at her.
"Kidding..." she quickly says.
"But even if we can get to the wand without them seeing us, I'm sure they won't just leave it somewhere in a room, unwatched," Carlos says.
"I wasn't done explaining the plan yet," Ben says, annoyed by the interruptions. "As I said; we go find it, observe the space, and then we'll make a plan how to get it out."
"So, your plan is to make a plan..." Evie questions.
"Yeah, we can only make a plan if we know how it's stored and guarded," he says.
"Right, okay, but won't they notice that it's gone?" Evie asks.
"I guess so..." he says, pondering.
"We print a fake one with Carlos' 3D printer and replace it with an exact replica," Troy suggests.
"Great, breaking in in another place; like we aren't already risking enough," Jane sighs.
"We have to take risks, otherwise we're never getting our kingdom back," Carlos tells her, giving her a comforting smile.
"Carlos is right," Ben agrees. "We have to do this..."
"Good, so tomorrow after breakfast we'll start operation 'get the wand'," Jay confirms, fully ready to take action.
