"Ouch, you stepped on my foot," Mal whispers to Ben, annoyed.

It's the next day when they're making their way back to the wand through the tunnels. They put a ribbon around the right ladder, so they remember where they have to go up. Before going back to the library, they went to Auradon Prep to use Carlos' 3D-printer and make a fake wand to replace the actual wand with.

"Well, I can't see where I'm walking, now, can I?" he tells her.

Mal rolls her eyes, still holding onto his hand.

"I know you just rolled your eyes at me," he says, a bit offended.

"I did no such thing," she says, stubbornly, rolling her eyes again.

"And now you did it again," he tells her.

"So not true," she lies.

"So too true," Ben insists.

"That's not even a sentence," she tells him.

"You sound just like an old married couple," Evie tells them, laughing a bit at the scene.

"More like two nagging toddlers," Carlos corrects her.

"Haha, so funny," Mal snaps at them, sarcastically, rolling her eyes once again.

"Now you did it again," Ben tells her.

"Prove it," Mal tells him.

"God, please, talk about something else," Jay says, annoyed.

"Guys, we're here," Lonnie says, stopping when they reach the ladder.

"Thank God, one more minute and I would've run to those pirates and beg them to take me," Jay says, giving the couple a side eye.

"I can arrange that for you," Mal tells him, smirking.

"Alright, alright, everyone; focus," Troy says, making everyone finally shut up. "So, do we all remember the plan?"

After going through the plan one more time, they get to work. They all quietly go up the ladder and climb through the trapdoor. It comes out behind a big bookcase. The room they're standing in is huge; it's the library of the castle, which the pirates have now kind of turned into some kind of safe. At each entrance there are two pirates guarding the doors, and in the middle of the room is a table on which the wand is placed. But the wand isn't the only thing they're guarding, they've taken the most powerful objects from the museum and stored it in here; Jafar's lamp, Evil Queen's mirror and even Maleficent's spinning wheel.

"Okay, alright, so Mal, you remember that spell you used on the guard in the museum, right?" Evie whispers to Mal.

Mal nods, while Ben, Jane, Lonnie and Troy look at them with questioning looks on their faces. "Uh- what are you-" Ben tries to ask.

"I'll explain that some other time," Mal promises.

"O- kay..." Ben says, very confused.

"Anyway," Evie says, trying to get back to the plan. "So, you cast that spell, the guards hopefully fall asleep, and then Jay and Lonnie run to that wand, grab it and then we'll meet back here. Carlos, Mal and Jane, you go stand by the left door to keep guard, and Ben, Troy and I do the same with the right door."

"I- I don't think I can do that..." Jane stammers, very nervously. "What if they come in, or- or what if-."

"It's fine, Jane, you just stay here and wait until we come back, alright," Evie suggests.

Jane nods, a bit relieved, but still not totally at ease.

"Everyone knows what they have to do then?" she asks.
