As we walked back, the silence between us felt heavy but somehow comforting. The air was thick with tension, but I was grateful to have Tomura by my side. I had so many thoughts swirling in my mind, and I finally decided to speak up. "Tomura, can I ask you something?"

He kept his eyes forward, but I could tell he was listening. "Sure." "Why didn't you let them take me back there? You could have easily handed me over," I said, trying to keep my voice steady. I felt nervous asking him this, but I needed to know. Tomura stopped walking and turned to face me. His expression was serious, and I could see the conflict in his eyes. "I didn't want to," he replied simply.

"Why not?" I pushed, my heart racing. "You could have saved yourself a lot of trouble." He took a deep breath, looking away for a moment as if searching for the right words. "It's not that simple," he said, his voice low and heavy. "You... you make me feel things I don't understand."

I blink, taken aback by his honesty. "Feel things? What do you mean?" I asked, genuinely curious. Tomura shifted his weight, clearly uncomfortable. "It's like... when you're around, everything feels different. I usually don't care about people or what happens to them, but with you, it's different. I don't want to let you go." His voice was a mix of frustration and something softer.

My heart raced at his words. "You mean, you care about me?" I asked, feeling both hopeful and afraid of the answer.

He looked away, running a hand through his hair. "Maybe. I don't know. It's complicated. I usually hate everything. I always have to urge to hate everything, but with you...I don't have that feeling." His honesty caught me off guard, but it also made me feel lighter.

"I get it," I said softly, trying to reassure him. "I feel something too. Ever since I met you, things have changed for me as well. At first you were that scary villain that kidnapped me, but after some time I really started to see the real you. I'm not sure what it is, but it's there. I want to be here with you, Tomura."

For a moment, he just stared at me, his expression softening. "You really mean that?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

"Yes, I do," I replied earnestly. "I want to figure things out together. I don't want to go back to just being a hero or a villain. I want to know what this is between us."

He took a step closer, and I could feel the tension in the air shift. "It's scary," he admitted, looking deep into my eyes. "I've never felt like this before. I've always pushed people away, but with you... it's different. I don't want to hurt you."

"You won't hurt me," I promised, taking a small step forward as well. "We can help each other. We can figure out what all of this means."

I smiled, feeling a sense of warmth spreading through me. " We can take it one step at a time. I'm here for you, Tomura."

His gaze softened, and for a moment, I saw a glimpse of the person beneath the cold exterior. "You really mean that, don't you?" he asked again, almost as if he was still trying to convince himself.

"Yes, I do," I said firmly. "You're not just a villain to me. You're more than that, and I want to be a part of your life, no matter what happens."

He nodded slowly, "Okay. Let's try to figure this out together. I don't want to lose you."

As we continued walking, a sense of hope filled the space between us. It was still unclear what the future would hold, but for the first time, I felt like we were moving in the right direction. Together, we would face whatever challenges came our way, and maybe—just maybe—we could create our own path amidst the chaos.

-back at the base-

"What?! Work with the Hassaikai!?" Twice yelled as we were back and told them about the meeting. "Yeah, don't make me keep saying it. Their plan has enough potential. Toga and Twice, you two are Yakuza from today on." Shigaraki told them. "That's an unfunny joke. Sounds interesting, Shigaraki!" Twice said, arguing with himself again. "They almost took Kuroiri and Sora too, but I held out. Anyway, that guy's got his own important job to do right now. You'll be moving through an underground route." Shigaraki got stopped from talking by Twice.

"Can you be the leader if you just pretend to keep cool? Are you being influenced by the masked bastard?!" Twice asked. "That guy killed Big Sis Mag! He blew away Mr. Compress's arm. And almost killed Sora too! He's the guy I brought carelessly to us..." He then took off his mask, showing his face with his blond hair. He was a crying mess. "I'm human too, you know, Shigaraki. Toga, you too! Say something!" He yelled at Toga.

"What are we to you, Tomura?" She then asked him. "To me, the league is a place that's comfortable. Mr. Stainy is what brought me to you. I want to make the world a place where I can do what I want and live easily. I'd like to do that if I can." She said and danced over to Tomura, as she then held a knife against his throat. "Hey, Tomura, why do I have to do something that's hard that I don't want to do?" She asked, and Shigaraki suddenly took off the hand on his face.

"Well...It's for me and for you guys. They probably want to restrict the League's mobility and win you useful guys over gently at the same time. I want you to flatter them from up close and conquer them." Shigaraki said, and Toga slowly put down her knife. "I never thought of them as equals. Twice, you said you want to take responsibility, right? This is one way to do it..."

"I...trust you guys." He ended his speech.
