"We'll fight them now! Redhead!" He yelled, and then the others started running at them.
Bakugo was fighting the others while I stood in front of Shigaraki. I had my hand held out, but nothing was happening. "Come on! Fire!" I yelled at my hand, but nothing happened. I could only see his eyes, and they said nothing. I looked down at my hand, and then there suddenly was a huge ice wall, and in shock, I looked to my right to see Izuku, Midoriya, and Kirishima flying through the air. "Come on, Sora, Bakugo!" They yelled. Bakugo saw the opportunity and blasted himself into the air. "Sora!" Kirishima yelled, but I didn't move. "Use your fire to get into the air; come on!" Kiri yelled, and my eyes landed on Kiri, then on Shigaraki. I swear his eyes held something pleadging in them, and I lost myself in them. "Sora..." Shigaraki mumbled.
"I'm sorry..." I then mumbled and shot myself into the air. They already had Bakugo, and I then held Bakugo's hand as we were flying through the air. But we then suddenly stared, sinking to the ground. "We're too heavy! They're going to get us!" Midoriya yelled, and I then saw something in Bakugo's eyes as he looked down at me. He looked at his friends and then at me. "Sorry. Sora." He then, and last thing I knew, Bakugo let go of my hand, and I was falling down. I could still see the shock in everyone's eyes as I looked up at them, and everything was like in slow motion. "What did I ever do to you?" I mumbled, and just as I was about to hit the ground, everything went black.
Next time I woke up, I found myself in an abandoned house. There were some crates and some matress. I was lying on one, and to my surprise, I wasn't in cuffs this time. The whole league was sitting in the room, and when I sat up, their eyes landed on me. I held my head with my hands as I recalled the last scene I could remember. "He dropped me," I whispered. "He fucking dropped me..." I mumbled, and I noticed the other members looking at me. I looked around frankly, and then I saw a door. Without thinking, I ran out of the room and quickly found an exit. Outside, I looked around and turned right. I just ran, ran away from everything. I then stumbled over my own feet and landed on the ground with my feet. I then let myself finally cry. One of my friends let me fall. I have no idea what happened; I knew for a fact I could've died from that hight or some other critical damage.I was sitting there on the floor crying my heart out for what felt like hours but was maybe just a few minutes, until I heard steps behind me. I looked up and saw Shiagraki. He was wearing a black longer coat with black pants and a black long sleeve shirt. I quickly wiped my tears and looked at him waiting fro him to speak. But he didn't say anything. He just stood there and looked at my figure.
"Why didn't you put me in handcuffs?" I then asked as I looked at him. After what felt like forever, he finally spoke. His voice was quiet, almost reflective. "What's the point?" I blink, confused. "What do you mean?" Shigaraki walked closer, his steps slow and deliberate. "You're not trying to escape anymore, are you?"
I stared at him, the words sinking in. He wasn't wrong. I had just run out of that house, but it wasn't to get away. I wasn't trying to be free. I was just running from the pain, the betrayal, the overwhelming confusion.
"I—" I hesitated, unsure of what to say. "I don't know what I'm supposed to do anymore." I mubled as I looked to the ground. "I'm supposed to be a hero, but since I joined the league, I only saw how cruel some heroes can be. Things they did to you guys. Things they did to my brother and how they left me." I said with a shaky voice. "Tell me, Shigaraki, what am I supposed to do?!"
He looked at me a moment before he stepped closer and bent down to my level. "I've told you before. Heroes are not what they always try to show who they are." He told me. "But what am I supposed to do now that I followed heroes all my life?!" I asked him a little freaked out.
"You've followed heroes because that's what you were taught to do. That's what everyone tells you is the right path. But now... now you see the cracks, don't you? The flaws in their perfect image."
I swallowed hard, my heart pounding in my chest. "But what if I don't want to be like you? What if I still want to believe in being good?"
He tilted his head, his expression unreadable. "Then don't be like me. But stop letting others decide who you are. Whether you call yourself a hero or a villain, that's your choice. Not theirs."
"I'll give you the same offer I did last time, Sora." He started, and he stood up again. He then held out his hand, well, four of his fingers. "It's now time to choose, Sora. If you want to escape, I won't stop you. But if you choose your freedom and justice, I'll promise I'll help you achieve everything you've ever wanted." He told me. I heastiated for a long time, until I gave in and held his hand or more like four of his fingers. "I'll follow you, Shigaraki." I said, and I noticed a small smile on his lips. Not a creepy smile, more a warm smile I've only ever seen once before.
