YN: My god!  Percy, Penelope's making out with a Slytherin boy!

Percy: WHAT?

He spun around towards where I was pointing, but there was nobody there.  Fred and George were rolling on the floor laughing, and even Hermione was giggling with Ginny and my sister, Hana, who was starting at Hogwarts this year.  Percy glared at me, before running through the wall to the platform.  I followed, and once the remaining Weasleys and Hermione had joined us, Harry and Ron led the way to the end of the train, past packed compartments, to a carriage that looked empty.  We loaded our trunks onto it, stowed Hedwig, Riko, and Crookshanks in the luggage rack, then went back outside to say goodbye to Mr and Mrs Weasley.

Molly: Do take care, won't you?  I've made you all sandwiches.

Arthur: Harry, YN.  Come over here a moment.

We walked over, and he ushered us behind a pillar.

Arthur: There's something I've got to tell you before you leave-

Harry: It's all right, Mr. Weasley.  I already know.

Arthur: You know?  How could you know?

Harry: I, er, I heard you and Mrs. Weasley talking last night.  I couldn't help hearing.

Arthur: That's not the way I'd have chosen for you to find out.

YN: It's alright Mr Weasley.  My mother filled me in as well.  I'll take care of him.

Mr Weasley sighed in relief.

Arthur: Harry, I knew you were, well, made of stronger stuff than Fudge seems to think, and I'm obviously pleased that you're not scared, but-

Molly: Arthur!  Arthur, what are you doing?  It's about to go!

Arthur: They're coming, Molly!  Listen, I want you to give me your word-

Harry: That I'll be a good boy and stay in the castle?

Arthur: Not entirely.  I want you both to swear to me you won't go looking for Black.

Harry: What?

There was a loud whistle.  Guards were walking along the train, slamming all the doors shut.

YN: We won't Mr Weasley.  But we really have to go.

We ran to the compartment door where Ava was conveniently waiting to open it.  She stood back to let us on, and we leaned out of the window and waved at Mr and Mrs Weasley until the train turned a corner and blocked them from view.  Ava threw her arms around me, grinning.

Ava: YN!

YN: It's good to see you, Ava.

She grinned up at me.  Over the summer, I'd hit a bit of a growth spurt.  I was now taller than both Harry and Ron by about two inches.  Meaning I was almost a half foot taller than Ava now.  Ron, Ginny, and Hermione walked over to us.

Harry: You guys, we need to talk.

Ron: Okay.  Go away, Ginny.

Ginny: Oh, that's nice.

She huffed and walked off.  Hana waved at me and followed her.  We set off down the corridor, looking for an empty compartment, but all were full except for the one at the very end of the train.  This had only one occupant, a man sitting fast asleep next to the window, which was strange.  The Hogwarts Express was usually reserved for students, and we had never seen an adult there before, except for the witch who pushed the food cart.  The stranger was wearing an extremely shabby set of wizard's robes that had been darned in several places.  He looked ill and exhausted.  Though quite young, his light brown hair was flecked with gray.  My eyes widened.
