A few seconds passed while Becca looked at the brunette with a slight smile on her lips, but it seemed to her that time had stood still. It was as if everything had ceased to exist again. It calmed down. Disappeared.

Out of habit, she only feels the strong beating of her own heart, an incomprehensible feeling in her chest. The eyes water, only confirming what the girl feels. Feels such a wide range that the following seconds come with awareness.

The realization that this is reality. And the reality is that it is partly false...

"You're here" is the first thing Becca can say, taking hesitant steps towards the brunette.

Freen smiles weakly again and puts a strand of hair behind her ear, lowering her head for a moment, and then again looks into the gentle green eyes opposite.

"Yes" the brunette answers very briefly.

She doesn't know what to say. Enough time has passed since their meeting in Miami. Everything is so complicated and confusing. Everything is so new, as if it is being born all over again. Exciting.

Billy began to watch the girls from the side, sitting on a bar stool. The guy managed to assess the situation, which Becca had not yet assessed. Her heart subtly sank, realizing what would happen next.

Becca stands in front of Freen, hesitant to touch her. Afraid. She looks her over. Her eyes run over the girl's face, then over her, and after she finally assessed the situation, anxiety filled her heart again, and a feeling of bitterness and pain filled everything inside, knocking new tears from her eyes.

"Where are you staying?" Becca asks the question as restrainedly as possible, without any prelude.

This question disappeared on its own after she realized that Freen was light. She only has a small travel bag with her. This only meant one thing: Freen had not returned to her.

"I booked a hotel room not far from here" Freen answers and looks into dull green eyes with regret and some sadness.

Becca swallows and nods, closing her eyes for a moment. The girl puts her hands in her jeans pockets and, biting her lip, turns her attention to the window. Some kind of lump is squeezing her throat painfully, preventing her from speaking smoothly.

The brown-haired felt like an idiot for thinking that Freen would just drop everything and come back to her. As if it's so easy to take, leave your new life and return to where everything collapsed for you, where you have almost nothing. Blindly give in to your feelings, not caring about what happens next.

It was stupid to think that this would happen. Of course Freen won't come back to her. They must build it all over again...

"Don't you want to go for a walk?" Becca asks the question again, turning her attention to Freen, who has been silently watching her all this time.

Freen, like no one else, sees Becca's pain and understands it, but she is not ready. She is not ready to give up everything and return to the one who broke her heart. And even though on that fateful day Becca told her that she didn't love her, that everything was gone, now Freen is sure that it was a lie. The most vile, barbed lies. And only God knows what caused everything to happen the way it did. What happened that a girl who loved so much had to give up the most precious thing in her life...

"I'm actually a little tired after the flight. I was thinking of relaxing at the hotel for a while, taking a nap, and then we could meet" Freen replies and smiles faintly.

Becca nods and lowers her head again, but her gaze rises to hazel, warm eyes when Freen lightly touches her brown strands, dragging them down, barely brushing her cheek.
