Present time...

Of course, Billy thought about his sister's proposal for an inordinate amount of time and now, waiting for his sister in a small coffee shop under the roof of a shopping center, he has no doubts at all. He is absolutely confident in his decision, and the support of his loved one and girlfriend completely strengthened his decision. But he is worried, worried, nervously tapping his spoon on his cup of coffee, probably a little irritating the visitors sitting next to him.

"Hello" a familiar voice attracts the guy's attention, and he immediately turns his gaze to his sister sitting down opposite.

"Hello" he smiles at her, and it seems that the girl exhales with relief, because now everything is really simpler.

Naomi is still nervous, it's obvious, but it's certainly not out of fear of seeing her brother's angry face. She is afraid of his decision, and that is why it seems as if all the weights of the world are pressing on her chest, and the air becomes sticky and viscous.

"You look great" Billy puts on a warm smile and rests his cheek on his hand, watching his sister.

Naomi always looked good, even when they were children and teenagers. And now, everything has not changed at all: light brown hair braided in a loose braid, an ivory blouse and dark blue trousers. Everything screams that this is a business lady. And it is so, but only her eyes were always kind, no matter how much she wanted to show with them hatred and anger towards someone. Gray eyes especially softened when looking at Billy.

"Thank you, you too" she smiles, taking a sip of the coffee she just brought.

They smile, looking into each other's eyes, and there is a pleasant, comfortable silence. Naomi does not press, does not dare to ask the question that has been tormenting her all this time, no, she waits patiently and only enjoys her brother's company. In truth, she doesn't even expect to get the answer she was waiting for, but even if that is the case, then at least she is on the right track to regain her brother's trust.

Billy is silent, looking away for a moment, glancing at the people passing by and sighing, he turns his attention back to his sister.

"It would be a great honor for me to accompany you to the altar" he finally says, looking straight into his sister's eyes, and then he smiles faintly.

And Naomi exhales, because it seems the girl just hasn't been breathing all this time. She feels warmth and happiness spreading in her chest, because this is happening. Really, after so many years of hostility between each other, they finally found the strength within themselves to forgive each other.

Naomi doesn't know what to say, she just looks at her brother with slightly reddened eyes. She wasn't ready for this, to be honest, and doesn't know what to say at all, except, of course:

"Can I hug you?" is all the girl can say, and Billy smiles wider, getting up from the table, wanting to hug his sister.

Naomi dives into her brother's arms, which she has missed so much for so many years, and buries herself in his neck, hugging him tightly. And, probably, at this moment the guy feels that very relief, the freedom that he hasn't had for so many years. He hugs his sister tighter, stroking her back, and only hears a barely perceptible:

"Thank you..."

For some reason, early in the morning the girls realized that today would be a crazy day. After all, it was today that Nam arrived, and today was her father's birthday. This means they'll have to rip a little, although... maybe not.
