Seven years ago. New York...

Becca hasn't felt as happy as she does now in a long time. She looks at Freen every single day and thanks all the Gods for bringing her together with this brunette angel. With this bright person, without whose help, none of this would have happened. She is grateful to Freen for taking matters into her own hands and insisting on a truce with her father.

That dinner, which Becca simply didn't want until recently, probably turned a lot of things in the girl's life upside down. Probably for the first time in a long, long time, she and her father really talked. It was an amazing, maybe a little awkward, tense dinner at first, but it soon became truly warm and family friendly. It was just the three of them, and most likely, that was when Becca felt true wholeness.

She saw how hard her father tried. She saw how he found a common language with Freen; Saw regret in his eyes; Saw repentance.

Becca remembered very well the moment when she and her father secluded themselves and had a heart-to-heart talk. It was probably then that they both first felt relief...

After that, everything seemed to begin to acquire its richest colors. It was Christmas Eve, but only now the first, real snow had finally fallen, which Freen was incredibly happy about, because due to her constant travel to warm places, she had hardly seen it.

"Lord, snow!" Before the first rays of the sun had time to touch the girls' chambers, Freen immediately jumped out of bed and immediately ran to the panoramic window to see snow for the first time in a long time.

This year the winter has been a bit disappointing and the first big snow has only just fallen.

The girl leaned her palms against the glass and began to look at snowy New York, which she had never seen before. It's so beautiful. Yellow taxis can barely navigate the snow-covered roads anymore; people are in a hurry somewhere, carrying bags in their hands, most likely full of Christmas gifts; the city is immersed in the upcoming holiday spirit, and every nook and cranny is sure to be filled with Santas.

Snow covers the city in large flakes, but Freen can't enjoy it, memorizing this picture down to the smallest detail, like a small child. This cannot but touch.

"Wow!" Becca mutters sleepily, barely opening her eyes, propping her head on her hand to look at the silhouette of Freen standing by the window.

"Don't be an ass" the brunette waved her hand, turning her head back. "It's so beautiful, just look!" exclaims Freen, never ceasing to admire this city.

Becca smiles and drops her head onto the pillow, sucking in air into her nostrils, and then forces herself to roll onto Freen's half of the bed, and within a second crawl out of bed to share "this miracle of nature" with the girl.

She stands behind the brunette and hugs her shoulders, burying her nose in her hair.

"This is magical" Freen says more quietly, hugging Becca's hand on her shoulder.

"I agree" the brown-haired says with a smile, looking at Freen, who is now happy, like a child.

And for some reason Becca feels such warmth and tenderness towards this man. She never ceases to be amazed how this angel is able to radiate so much warmth, while experiencing so much...

Something in Becca's chest begins to fill, wanting to spill out into words. She looks at Freen and swears that her desire, the calling of her own heart, seems right. This had long been obvious to her. It seems like she realized this a long time ago. She is probably sure that it was at first sight, but neither one nor the other tells each other about it.
