Chapter 1: The Rise of Rudransh Suryawanshi

The tall glass building of Suryawanshi Industries stood proudly in the heart of Mumbai, reflecting the bustling city around it. Inside, the atmosphere was thick with tension. Employees moved about quickly, casting nervous glances toward the large office at the end of the hallway. It belonged to Rudransh Suryawanshi, the powerful CEO who was both feared and respected.

At 30, Rudransh was the epitome of success. Dressed in a sharp navy suit that highlighted his strong physique, he walked through the office with an air of authority. His piercing gaze sent chills down the spines of those who crossed his path. There were no friendly greetings or casual conversations; his employees knew better than to engage with him. Rudransh was a man of few words, and his presence commanded silence.

"Mr. Suryawanshi," Nisha, his assistant, said nervously, hurrying to catch up with him. "The investors are waiting for you in the conference room."

"

Good

Good. Let's not waste time," he replied curtly, his voice leaving no room for further discussion. He entered the conference room, where a group of investors awaited him, their faces a mix of respect and fear.

As he began his presentation, he spoke confidently, outlining the company's achievements and future plans. Any sign of weakness was quickly buried under his calculated demeanor. But Rudransh was not just a ruthless businessman; he was a man battling his own demons. The memory of his mother, Anjali, who had abandoned him and his father, lingered in his mind like a shadow. He pushed the pain away, focusing instead on his work.

Halfway through the meeting, one of his junior employees made a mistake while presenting a report. "What is this?" Rudransh snapped, his tone icy. "This is unacceptable. If you can't handle basic tasks, maybe you don't belong here." The employee's face turned pale, and he quickly left the room, humiliated. Rudransh felt no remorse; he believed in strength and competence above all else.

After the meeting, Rudransh returned to his office, where Raghav, his loyal manager, was waiting. "You need to be careful, Rudra. People are starting to fear you," Raghav cautioned.

"Fear is necessary in this business," Rudransh replied coldly, dismissing the concern. He was determined to maintain his power, no matter the cost.

Aryan his younger cousin and a college student, entered the office with excitement. "Bhai, there's a college event tonight! You should come. It'll be fun!" Aryan urged, his enthusiasm contrasting sharply with Rudransh's stoic demeanor.

"I don't have time for college parties," Rudransh replied, his voice lacking interest. Aryan's face fell, but he quickly recovered, knowing how his cousin was.

"Fine, but don't blame me when you miss out on all the fun!" Aryan shot back playfully before leaving.

Arriving at the Suryawanshi mansion, he was greeted by the familiar sight of his family home-an opulent structure that reflected their wealth and status. Suryawanshi mansion is very big and looks like a palace and rudra has his own floor in suryawanshi mansion because he doesn't have any disturbance.

Inside, the ambiance was warm and inviting, a stark contrast to the coldness he felt at work. His stepmother, Radhika, was in the living room, arranging flowers. She looked up and smiled. "Rudra! How was your day?"

"Same as always," he replied flatly, walking past her without stopping. Radhika's smile faded slightly, but she quickly composed herself. She cared for Rudransh deeply, often trying to bridge the gap created by his mother's absence, but his emotional walls were impenetrable.

In the adjoining room, Rudransh's father, Arjun Suryawanshi, sat reading the newspaper. He glanced up as Rudransh entered. "You should be more patient with your team, Rudra. They look up to you," Arjun said, his tone filled with concern.

"Respect is earned through performance, Dad. Not through sympathy," Rudransh shot back, his expression unyielding. Arjun sighed, knowing his son was too stubborn to change.

"Your Dada and Dadi are coming back tonight from Delhi "Arjun added, trying to change the topic. "They've been looking forward to seeing you."

(Rudra dada and dadi have gone to Delhi to meet relatives and they are coming back after 1 month.)

"Great," Rudransh replied dryly, already mentally preparing himself for the family gathering.

As he made his way to the dining area, he spotted his chacha, Rajesh, and chachi, Meera, chatting with Dada and Dadi. The warmth in the room was palpable, but Rudransh felt like an outsider.

"Rudra, come here!" Rajesh called, waving him over. "Your Dada was just telling us about his trip to Delhi."

"Not now," Rudransh replied, glancing at his watch. "I'm busy." Dadi noticed his lack of enthusiasm and reached out to him, her eyes filled with love. "Rudransh beta, family is important. You should spend more time with us."

"I'll talk to you later," he replied politely but firmly before heading upstairs, leaving behind the warmth of family for the solitude he preferred.

The younger clan was not there because they have a fest in college.

Later that night, as he prepared for bed, memories of his past crept in again. He remembered the day his mother left, how it had shattered his world. It fueled his drive for success but also built a wall around his heart. He vowed never to feel that kind of pain again.

Rudransh lay in bed, staring at the ceiling, his mind racing. Tomorrow would be another battle, another day to prove himself. But little did he know, changes were on the horizon that would challenge everything he believed about power, love, and vulnerability.
