Chapter 2: The Sunshine of Aarya Kapoor
In the vibrant city of Surat, the Kapoor household was always buzzing with life, thanks to Aarya. At 23, she was a sweet, innocent, and carefree girl with a habit of stumbling into trouble-quite literally. But behind that clumsy exterior, her family knew she had a heart of gold and could be feisty when life demanded it.
One sunny morning, Aarya lay snuggled in her bed when her younger sister, Naina, decided it was prank time. Sneaking into Aarya's room, Naina gently slid a toy snake under the blanket. With a wicked grin, she shouted, "Didi, wake up! You're late!"
Startled, Aarya jumped out of bed, screaming as she saw the "snake." Naina burst into laughter, watching her sister's reaction with pure joy. But soon, Aarya's face shifted from shock to a sly smile. "Nice try, Naina! But you know who's the real prankster here." Aarya quickly grabbed a water bottle and sprayed it at Naina, chasing her around the house. Their playful shrieks echoed through the home, lightening the mood as always and the house echoing with their laughter.
Finally giving up the chase, Aarya headed downstairs for lunch, her hair still messy from the morning chaos. As she rushed down, her foot caught the edge of the stair, and in her usual style, she tripped.
"Ahh!" she yelped, catching herself before she could hit the ground.
Her father, Rajeev, sitting at the dining table with a newspaper, looked up, a concern written on his face. "Aarya! One of these days, you'll hurt yourself. You're always so clumsy!"
Aarya grinned sheepishly as she took a seat. "Relax, Papa. I'm fine. This is just how I roll."
Her mother, Meena, served food, shaking her head but with a fond smile. "That's the problem, Aarya. You roll too much! You're always in a hurry, always tripping over something."
Rajeev folded his newspaper and sighed. "We're worried, beta. You're going to Mumbai tomorrow, all by yourself. What if something happens? You can't take things lightly there."
Aarya shrugged playfully. "Papa, it's just Mumbai, not a battlefield. I'll manage. And besides, I've survived all these years, haven't I?"
Her father couldn't help but smile. "Yes, but we know how you are. So innocent, so carefree. We just want you to be more careful."
Meena nodded. "True. But I also know one thing about you, Aarya. You may seem clumsy and easygoing, but when it really matters, you stand up for yourself. You're strong when you need to be. We've seen that side of you, even if it comes out rarely."
(Aarya's clumsy and innocent nature made her endearing, but it also made her parents worry about how she would handle the challenges of a big city like Mumbai)
Aarya smiled, touched by her parents' faith in her. "Don't worry, Mama, Papa. I'll be fine. And I promise I'll be careful."
Just then, Naina, Aarya's younger sister, entered the room with a mischievous grin. "Didi, are you ready for Mumbai? I heard they have traffic jams that last for hours! Imagine how many times you'll trip over something!" she teased.
"Oh please, Naina," Aarya said, playfully rolling her eyes. "If I can handle your pranks, I can handle anything." She grabbed a pillow and threw it at her sister, who laughed and dodged it. Despite their constant banter, the two sisters shared a close bond.
Naina knows that Aarya is a big prankster than her .
"Just wait till I get back from Mumbai. I'll show you some real pranks," Aarya said with a wink, making Naina laugh even harder. At Lunch time
Lunch continued with laughter, but true to form, Aarya accidentally knocked over her glass of water, spilling it across the table.
"Aarya!" Meena exclaimed, shaking her head in exasperation.
"Oops! Sorry, sorry," Aarya mumbled, quickly grabbing tissues to clean the mess, laughing at her own clumsiness.

Her father, Rajeev Kapoor, watched the scene from the living room, shaking his head. "I don't know how she'll manage in Mumbai, Meena. That city is not as forgiving as this one. She's too... too carefree."Despite her clumsy nature, Aarya had a fierce side too. While she was sweet and innocent most of the time, she could stand up for herself and those she cared about when the situation demanded it. Her family had seen glimpses of her feisty side, though it rarely came out. She was the type of person who would go along with the flow until something-or someone-crossed a line. Then, the innocent girl everyone knew could become surprisingly assertive.

Later that night, as Aarya sat in her room packing her bags, her mind wandered back to her childhood. Memories of her clumsy accidents, like falling into a puddle at a school event or spilling juice at a family function, flashed through her mind. Yet, through every stumble, Aarya had always managed to pick herself up with a smile. Life, she believed, was too short to be taken too seriously. But deep down, Aarya knew that when life demanded, she could be as feisty and determined as anyone else.
Now, as she prepared to head to Mumbai, Aarya felt a mix of excitement and nervousness. It wasn't just about finding a job; it was about proving herself, about showing her family that beneath her carefree nature was someone capable of handling life's toughest challenges.
The next day , Aarya stood at the train station, ready for her journey to Mumbai. She was excited and a little nervous. She had always been the girl who went with the flow, never worrying too much about the future. But now, with her bags packed and her family's worries in her heart, she knew this move was a big step.
The train pulled into the station with a loud whistle. Aarya hugged her parents and Naina tightly. "I'll call you every day!" she promised, smiling as she waved goodbye.
As the train began to move, Aarya settled into her seat, her mind racing with thoughts of the new life ahead. She had no idea what awaited her in Mumbai, but she was ready. With her innocent charm, sweet nature, and just a little bit of clumsiness, Aarya was about to step into a world where everything was about to change.
