Chapter: A Surprising Twist

It has been a week since she got the job as Rudra's PA. She told everyone at home, and they were very happy, advising her to behave and not fool around as it is a big and reputed company. She sheepishly told them she would never do anything foolish; they underestimated her, and she said playfully.
She has also met her Dadaji, who is Rudra's Dada, two more times. They both are buddies and enjoy each other's company very much, playing Ludo and fighting like children. Rudra's Dadaji is also happy these days, and the family is glad to see him like that. Rudra also learned about the girl his Dadaji met at the orphanage and warned him not to trust any stranger. Dadaji ignored it because he knew Rudra didn't trust anyone easily.
The next day is the day she will join Suryawanshi Industries. She is excited and a little nervous, but she is looking forward to seeing what life has in store for her.
The next day, all the family members and her old colleagues called her to give her good wishes. Her neighbors also wished her well, and Mrs. Mukherjee gave her dahi shakar and blessed her. Then she headed to the office so she wouldn't be late on her first day.

Aarya took a deep breath as she entered the Suryawanshi Industries building, her eyes lighting up with excitement as she admired the sleek, modern design. While the place was undeniably grand, her bubbly nature helped her settle in, feeling more thrilled than nervous. This was a whole new world-a big leap in her career-and she couldn't wait to dive in.
Aarya walked into the grand entrance of Suryawanshi Industries, her spirits as high as her curiosity. She took in the sleek decor, the bustling environment, and the serious expressions on the employees' faces, but all she could think was, "Yeh bhi ek normal office hi toh hai... bas thoda zyada fancy hai." (This is also a normal office, just a little fancier.)
Spotting the security guard by the door, she gave him a cheerful smile. "Good morning!" she greeted, waving energetically.
The guard blinked, thrown off by her friendliness. "Uh... good morning, ma'am," he replied awkwardly, not quite used to such warm greetings.
She laughed a little, enjoying his surprise, and confidently approached the reception desk. The receptionist, who was buried in work, glanced up and nearly did a double-take at Aarya's bright, carefree expression.
"Hello! I need directions to Mr. Suryawanshi's office, please," she asked with a relaxed smile.
The receptionist's professional tone barely hid her curiosity. "And... you are?"
"Oh, I'm his new PA," Aarya declared proudly, her eyes twinkling with excitement.
The receptionist's jaw practically dropped. "You're... his PA?"
Aarya nodded, amused by the receptionist's reaction. "Arre relax karo, boss hi toh hai."
"Well... um, the top floor," the receptionist finally managed, still processing this unusual new hire. "Just take the elevator to the 20th floor."
"Thank you so much!" she said, grinning brightly, then headed toward the elevator.
As Aarya waited, she could feel the eyes of a few employees on her, and snippets of whispers reached her ears:
"That's his PA? Does she know what she's in for?"
"She seems too cheerful. He's not going to like that."
