They were dressed in their diving clothes ready to explore. Just before they were about to dive, Qiling turned to Wuxie and adjusted his mask and checked his tank.

"Yeah, just forget about me, I can check my own equipment." Pangzi mumbled as he also double checked his own tank.

"Xiao-ge I can check it. Make sure yours is good." Wuxie said but Qiling just continued doing his inspections until he was satisfied. He nodded and they looked at eachother, taking a breath before diving down. The lake looked small from the surface but it was actually quite big. There were a few opening and caves but there was one that stood out. Qiling swam closer to it and then nodded for Pangzi and Wuxie to come. Pangzi smiled as he swam faster. There were small writing over the cave. Wuxie touched it, trying to decipher what it was as Qiling found the opening, he pushed his fingers into the side which made the stone move. The cave opened up, glowing a bright green. They swam in until they reached the dry part.

"Ah, that was one hell of a work out." Pangzi said as he took off his mask. Wuxie shook his head, also doing the same.

"I thought you said you had started exercising?" Wuxie asked knowing full well Pangzi had not.

"Ofcourse I did. That was nothing for me. I do waaaay more than that you know. I might even be on par with Xiao-ge." Pangzi looked over at Qiling who had already started inspecting the room. "Found anything?" Pangzi walked over to him as he dropped his arm over his shoulder.

"No traps..." Qiling answered and moved over to Wuxie.

"Look here, there seems to be another room but it's locked. Outside there were some writing, I think it was an introduction for who ever left this place." Wuxie turned only to see Qiling directly behind him causing him to take a step back. Qiling was quick to grab his waist, stopping him from hitting the locked door.

"Always so clumsy. You could have triggered something, good thing you have Xiao-ge. He can always sense when you're in danger." Pangzi laughed.

"I'm not that clumsy anymore, right Xiao-ge?" Wuxie looked at Qiling with his puppy eyes but Qiling only tightened his hold on his waist and pulled him to the other side.

"I'll open it." Qiling said as he watched the door. It was fairly simple, only a hidden botton. He pushed it and there was a click before it shifted and shook.

"It's open! Let's see if there are any treasures!" Pangzi rushed in. The room was overed in dust and pots. There were jade, stone, clay and a few other types.

"Pots?" Wuxie asked noone in particular.

"It is a storage room. This must be the ruins for a crafter." Qiling answered from right behind him. Wuxie didn't turn to look, he was accustom to Qiling knowing things that he sometimes didn't.

"But if there are jade ones, it must cost quite abit." Pangzi smiled as he inspected them. "I'll be rich." Pangzi started collecting a few that he deemed of better quality.

"I wonder which crafter it was? These seem to be in really good shape. The textures are all quite good too. Xiao-ge, do you know?" Wuxie turned to Qiling who was just staring at him. He shook his head. "Well lets just gather our stuff and head back up, no point i dwelling for too long. I'll take a picture of the writings and decipher it when we go up." Wuxie concluded.

Time skip-
They were back on the surface, a few pots stacked into the van and some pictures scattered over a small table. Wuxie was sitting over it, closely inspecting it, cross referencing with other writings while Pangzi was giddily taking pictures of him and the pots.

"Is it hard?" Qiling asked from beside him. Wuxie shook his head.

"It's not that it's hard but more so that it makes no sense." Wuxie pointed to the picture and then at his own notes. "Look, it should say, 'The offering to Gods' but that doesn't make sense. What god? Wasn't it just a storage? And offering? What was offered? Wasn't there only two rooms?" Wuxie had started to babble on as Qiling just listened, with a small smile.

Qiling's Pov-
Wuxie really is the most beautiful. The way his eyes twinkle and his eyebrows furrow as he talks. I slowly put my hand on his shoulder and it seemed like he didn't notice so I slowly trailed it down his arm. He looked over at me and I smiled.

"Shall we go again?" I asked. His mouth was slightly agap.

"You want to go back down? Don't we have the treasure here, we should head back soon." Pangzi came over and sat with us as Wuxie sighed.

"Pangzi is right, we should head back tomorrow. I have the pictures and I'll do my research home." Wuxie replied as he started to pack up the papers. "Lets make dinner. I'm starving."

"Alright, I'll make dinner then." Pangzi volunteered. Dinner was quick and all our things were packed and ready for the morning. The dinner felt as if we were just casually camping out. Pangzi and Wuxie talked as I listened.

"It's a game, I told you we should have gotten it but you wanted that old one." Wuxie grumbled as Pangzi showed him something on his phone.

"This one is better. It's a clasic. You like Xiao-ge, isn't he old too." Pangzi inputted as he pointed at me. Wuxie turned to look as well.

"How can you compare Xiao-ge to a game!" Wuxie started to hit Pangzi as I chuckled.

"I'm the best." I quietly whispered but it seemed that they heard. They stopped messing around and was silent for one second until they were both hunched over, laughing.

"Ofcourse Xiao-ge, you're the best." Pangzi patted my shoulder as he said between laughs.

Time skip-
The three were already side by side inside the tent, Pangzi snoring, Wuxie tugging the cover tighter around him and Qiling who turned to face Wuxie. He watched as Wuxie's chest rise and fell with every breath. It seemed to always calm him when he saw that. When he was in the bronze gate, there were many times he had nightmares where Wuxie was.... he shook his head. There was no need to think of such things. Qiling looked at Wuxie's face and maybe he felt his gaze, he suddenly opened his eyes. Wuxie turned towards Qiling, their eyes locked but no words were spoken for a few minutes.

"Can't sleep?" Wuxie asked as he took his hand out of the covers to gently pat Qiling's upper arm. "Wow, did your muscles get bigger? It seems even harder than before." He squeezed as his eyes darted to the spot he felt. Qiling felt his heart race and his face felt alittle hot but his expression was the same, cold and serious.

"Wuxie..." Qiling called his name softly making him still his squeezing. Wuxie looked at his eyes, he seemed to always get lost in them, like a dark void that sucked him in.

"Mhm? Want me to sing you a song?" Wuxie joked as he removed his hand only for Qiling to grab it. He interwined their fingers and then closes his eyes. Wuxie was a little shocked but he didn't remove his hand, instead he gave a little squeeze and also closed his eyes. Qiling always seemed to sleep better with Wuxie around and this time he even seemed to sleep in.
